Shiroji gave a soft smile at the girl's response. It was nice to see their guest was feeling better. Meanwhile Alex choked down the last of his food and downed his milk in one go before putting the glass on the table.

"Ahh!~" he sighed as he waited for a second. "I skipped dinner yesterday to check out the caravan. I was hungry." he answered in a matter of fact sort of way.

Misaka gave a slight giggle at that before speaking herself. "Well who's fault is that?" She asked the boy before moving back towards the door"Anyway I just came to get my plate. We're gonna eat with Jason."

As the duo entered the room, Jenny looked over at Shiroji with a calm smile as he spoke.

"It seems he's a bit less hostile, but something seems up. Says he wants to leave by today.", Jennifer reported. After doing so, she did take notice of her older teammate rushing as if he was late for something. "Hey Alex, where's the fire?", Jenny half-jokingly asked as she grabbed her own cup and plate from the table.

By the time they made their way back to the living area, Alex had already emptied his plate and was downing his cup of milk as if he were in a rush to be somewhere. He didn't say too much as Misaka walked in, grabbed her plate and cup and prepared to leave again. Shiroji it seemed had just sat down himself with a plate full of eggs and bacon. He was wearing his usual attire, however the was a rip in his old lab coat that still needed mending.

"Ah good morning girls." the man said as he greeted them. "How is our guest?"

Jennifer gave a small nod at what Misaka had said before accepting her courteous gesture and stepping through the door. Jason's existence presented more questions than answers at the moment, but hopefully everything would become clear soon.

"Yea. I just wonder why he's leaving so soon. Whatever it is, it seems to be urgent.", Jenny said as she turned to look back down at Misaka.

Jason's change in behavior hadn't been lost on Misaka either, she had been actively trying to patch things up with Jason since their first encounter, and it seemed to be paying off at least somewhat. "Yeah we kind of got off on the wrong foot. I'm glad things are a little better now. Even if he's leaving soon I'm glad it's not on bad terms." she responded as she reached for the door, opening it up for Jenny.

("Geez Raina, I couldn't tell if that was a subconscious slip or if you are really just that raunchy."), Jenny casually joked one last time before looking over at Misaka.

"Well that went better than expected. I'm a bit surprised he was as docile as he was, seeing how yesterday he was up in arms.", Jenny said to the electric esper.

Misaka turned her head back to see Jenny catching up to her as she was making her way back to their living area. "Oh It's okay, I was gonna grab your plate too." she promised. "Although I dont' know how i was going to carry two plates and two cups at the same time." she admitted with a thoughtful look on her face now.

meanwhile in her mind Raina casually commented back ("Personally I prefer a girl in uniform. But I'd much rather her be in something black lacy and see through.") she teased ("anyway I'll fuck off now. I know how hard it is to hold two conversations at once.")

("Nothing as hot as a man in uniform, eh Raina?"), Jenny thought to her friend, giving a small smile at her quip. Meanwhile, she watched as Misaka hopped up and prepared to leave. She contemplated for only a second whether she should stay and talk, or go and get her food too. Truth be told, Jennifer was still hungry and had barely gotten to eat yet, so talking could wait for just a little bit.

"I'm going too. We'll be back in a bit, so make yourself comfortable in the break room. See you soon.", Jenny said as she began to walk alongside Misaka. To this, Jason took his free hand and raised his hand in a half-hearted, almost sheepish wave.

Raina was happy with how things had gone thus far and decided to leave it off on a little joke ("You could also try opening your legs") she teased, knowing Jenny wouldn't take it seriously.

Meanwhile Misaka gave a bit more of a smile While Jason would most likely leave them soon, he at least knew that they wouldn't force him to do so. "Alright, just let me grab our plates real quick. We haven't eaten yet either." she said before hopping up somewhat cheerfully. "Be right back."

With that, Jason gave a light sigh before rising to a stand from his bed. He tried to show a little more appreciation for the sake of this electric girl.

"I'm going to head to the break room. You two can follow if you'd like.", Jason calmly said before beginning his trip there.


Meanwhile, Jenny began her own conversation with Raina. She understood why she would not share her findings and gave an unnoticeable nod. ("Alright, but it might take some time to find an opening.")

Misaka gave a soft girlish smile back at Jason, despite not being able to see his own. It may have been a weak complement, but it was enough to make Misaka feel better, there was no bad blood between them. Meanwhile as Jenny thought, she'd find that Raina was paying very close attention. Now Raina had often gotten ahold of information she aught not to. Everything from Shiroji's porn habits to Jenny's secret fictional crush. She knew what was going on with Jason, but wouldn't just tell Jenny. Instead she put a single thought into her mind to aid her. ("try talking about your parents.")

Jason gave a weak smile beneath his helmet after Misaka had finished.

"Well, if nothing else, you're hospitable.", Jason softly remarked.

Meanwhile, Jenny was thinking to herself, or rather to Raina if she was listening. Jennifer was concerned for whatever was going on with their unknown guest, but it seemed like he didn't really want to divulge it to them. Jenny knew that it was his choice to keep it to himself, but maybe if they found some way to make it through his guard, they could get him to speak.

Misaka's lips curved into a frown at what she heard. She was hoping to make a new friend in Jason, but he was leaving so soon. "Oh. Well there's no rush. We have food, hot water and plenty of food. If nothing else at least takes some MRE's with you." Misaka said, trying to make him feel welcome but also not begging him to stay.

Jason took notice of Misaka's gaze and looked her in the eyes for a small second before looking down to his plate. He still did not know how far he should trust these people. He wanted to trust them. They didn't seem like bad people, but something in his mind just kept preventing him from revealing the full truth. After a moment of silence, Jason's armored gaze slowly lifted back to meet Misaka's.

"I appreciate all that you've given me, even after.. the whole forest incident.., but I will have to leave soon.", Jason rather somberly said.

Phone call between Sidna and Logan

Logan gave a hardy laugh at what Sidna had said. Feeling like he owed her an explanation for her trouble he continued. "I can't speak for her skill, but her ability is called "Electromastery" If we can bring her back alive she'd be a prime subject for project Achilles. She could probably surpass Jason with the right training." He said finishing up his explanation. "I'll contact you again in six hours. I've got a lot of work to do."
