You definitely did open another means to an end that honestly coincides with everything and provides a deeper means of alluding to the ultimate end even earlier thus making it interwoven in part I more than it was.

I love this song, especially 2:50 and 4:02.

If not, good. Cause I'm gonna go with another concept.
(In Sanctuary I made Dalia Aion's sister...but here it's different)

When we reach part II, everyone will be able to pick a side...and there is no good or bad, just a different view point.
Option 1: Follow Astraeus and the original team that is here in part I (After Starla and Eleos join) alongside Erebos but minus Terrisa.
or
Option 2: Follow Aion and another group (that somehow wound up being mostly female in all my infinite wisdom of keeping a gender balance...somehow it happened...) alongside Aetheron.

The group's views are defined by Erebos and Aetheron
Erebos sees Astraeus as the key to breaking the cycle and seeks to actively bring an end to the torment, save lives, and see peace restored to the galaxy, even though he would be defying the Master of Time by interfering directly by trying to prevent any more loss of life.
Aetheron is attempting to aid Aion in changing the outcome of events without directly disobeying the Master of Time. The team seeks to do the background work and bring the end to torment at whatever price. They are willing to make sacrifices to reach their goal.
*This is not my final description. I'm tweaking the "sacrifice" part slightly, cause in this I have it half backwards and half correct...*
