Not exactly, and yet also exactly.

In TSU I have magic types, then "Sub Magic" Types.

For example

Dark Magic is it's own magic type, but then Shadow Magic and Blood Magic fall under it as sub-types.


Light Magic is it's own magic type, then Ultima falls under it.

Fire with Lightning as a subtype etc etc.


People with one type like say Fire magic, can over time learn how to tap into Lightning Magic, but would take a large amount of training in order to.

Dark Magic, Shadow Magic, and Blood Magic users over time and practice can learn one of the other magic types that fall under the "Dark Magic" category.

Please remember that I am still working on refining the OP to try and improve things. So any questions will help with refining the Opening.

Necromancy does exist in TSU, but is either rare or considered taboo because of it involving resurrecting the dead. A lot of witches are known for Necromancy as they are common practitioners of it. Though witches can generally learn other spells of other elements thanks to having a "Magical Aura" that makes them compatible with more than one type of magic, however the require needing to recite spells from books in order to use elemental magic. I really should go more in depth about this.

I'd say Necromancy would fall under the "Dark Magic" category.

Bio: Kris was already odd from her clan in the northern areas of the country since she was half human and half wolf. She was extremely shy and scared of other people because of her appearance. Kris had no knowledge of her father, a simple photograph of her father, her mother and a baby was the only piece of memory she had of the wolf man who disappeared on her earliest days of life. Kris´mother did everything she could to give the half breed education and determination to live her life. Soon the magic of her blood appeared when she was 16 years old by the form of ice needles almost killing one of her bullies and she was never bothered again from the kids, now they feared her. Deciding to protect her, Kris´mother sent the wolf girl out of the town towards somewhere she could be safe and happy. Kris did everything to get the money for her travel while her mother went on the search of her father.

What Element/and or type of magic: Ice element. Kris can create ice objects from simple snow balls to deadly cutting weapons made of ice. She can both use her magic to attack and to protect by vreating a barrier of thick ice. There is a risk of her element related to her emotions though, if Kris gets emotionally altered, her ice can manifest differently, if she is sad, the ice could be of a snow storm, and if she is angry, deadly sharp ice would storm their way to a target.

Appearance: She has red long hair and has a height of 1.82 meters (image 1), she has dichromatic eyes that are green and yellow, her ears are ones of a wolf on the top of her head (image 2)

Why did you come to the University?: She has two reasons to come to this university, the first one is to control her emotions and magic, while the second one is to trust herself to move on from her fears


Personality: She is usually calm and tries to help even though she is shy to people. Determination runs on her blood and she doesn´t give up on what she is doing hoping to help someone. Kris can have emotional crashes if someone presses the right buttons on her mind causing her to go berzerk in a madness of either sadness or anger.



Other: As in the bio and personality, the wolf girl is scared of people, but tries to break from her shell

Name: Andrew Smith

Race: Human

Age: 19

Bio: Andrew has always been an... odd kid. He was always cheery, happy, and even a bit normal for the most part. There was one thing though that always stood out about him was his case of Scopophobia or the morbid fear of being seen or stared at. He never liked it when someone stared at him directly. Whenever someone stared at him directly he would occasionally freak out, and have a panic attack. Yet despite this he always tries to be social, even against his own will... sadly he fails at this quite often, and when he has enough he will usually flee the scene or hide in a nearby closet or bush if possible. Most people usually find him to be just a shy person. It's unknown why Andrew is like this. Andrew when he was younger spent a lot of time with his grandfather, the only person who he truly was able to get past his Scopophobia. As such Andrew was always calm around his grandfather.

The relationship Andrew had with his grandfather was quite tight, as his father had usually been far too busy with his job as a Lawyer, having been constantly travelling (yet always did try to make an effort to try and be as best as a father as he could be to Andrew) in order to help support his family. As such his grandfather was always there to help support him. His grandfather taught him to be kind, respectful, and even observant of his surroundings as he would never know if something was amiss or wrong. When Andrew reached the age 15 his grandfather was hospitalized after coming down ill. Ever since then Andrew went into a slight depression. The hospital his grandfather was put in can make sure he is fine and healthy, but it made Andrew fearful. He wanted to keep his grandfather alive for as long as can be. He loved his grandfather. One day however when he was just lazing about in his room drawing random crap when he suddenly got the urge to draw... weird... symbols... symbols that he never even thought or seen before... Yet... Andrew somehow knew how to draw these runes by heart... as though something was... telling him to.

Andrew proceeded to draw the runes all over his room in marker. Each one having different or odd effects like creating small crystal pillars, and even one had paralyzed him temporarily. After this "phase" ended Andrew was feeling drained, and his mother was quite upset, yet also didn't know what to think of the mess. The next day Andrew had decided to visit his grandfather, and tell him what happened. That's when his grandfather chuckled and told him that he has a special ability called "magic" more specifically Rune Magic. Andrew couldn't realize that he had magical abilities. He heard of other people who had magical powers, but never thought that he himself would get magical abilities. His grandfather assured him that his magic could be used for wondrous things that could help many people, and told him about Trinity Soul University and that if he ever wishes to learn more about his magic and even perfect it he should head over to that University when he comes of age. Now that he is 19 Andrew is headed off to Trinity Soul University not only to perfect his magic, but also find a way to use his magic to help his still ill grandfather.

Gender: Male

What Element/and or type of magic?: Rune Magic. More specifically healing, and trapping magic. He is not too experienced with this magic, and only knows a basic weak barrier rune spell.

Luggage: A simple bag full of clothes, his glasses, a notebook or two, a toothbrush, an energy bar, and another bag with a small laptop and a few other things as well.

Appearance: He stands at 5ft 9, relatively short when compared to other members of his family. This makes him come off as a bit more shy, and helpless than normal.

Why did you come to the University?: Because he wishes to find a way to perfect his magic, and help his grandfather get better. He also wishes to try and overcome his Scpophobia.

Personality: As mentioned in his Bio he is (or was) usually a cheery, happy, and carefree guy when he is alone (or thinks he is alone.) Yet the moment someone actually STARES at him directly and he notices his normal happy and cheery demeanor changes completely to that of a shy, scared, and nervous wreck of a human being that will do anything to escape the situation, or draw attention away from himself. Usually he'll try and hide in, behind, or under something. However if there is nothing to hide behind he will usually scream for people to stop staring at him, or even fake passing out. Other than his Scopophobia he is a normal, and even kind person who can be a trustworthy friend once you get to know him... if you can get to know him that is... Also since his grandfather taught him to be observant he takes that both figuratively (as in he can notice if someone is hiding an emotion like if someone is sad, but is acting happy or something), and literally (as in actually hiding behind objects and taking notes of his surroundings usually.)

Recently though the events of his grandfather ending up in the hospital had effected his personality quite a bit. He is significantly more shy, and even a bit more cowardly (and nervous) than he used to be. He'll still spend time with others, but when he does he will generally be the kind of guy who will stay in the back of the group where it is more safe and quiet, only talking when someone asks him something. Though if he gets used to a person he definitely will open up far more. He still freaks out when people look at him directly which is still a problem, however under the right circumstances (which there are a LOT to take into consideration with Andrew), he can be an exceptional young lad who can be quite friendly, and downright loyal. Despite his new shyness, and reserved nature after his Grandfather was put in the hospital, he still is highly observant. It is not often that he actually misses something that is going on around him.

When all alone or with someone he has gotten used to hanging out with, Andrew is a very calm and quiet lad who, despite living in a world that has magic, still tries to think of things logically. He's never the type of guy who will directly confront a hostile person/opponent even in battle. Instead Andrew decides to take the more supportive role in a combat situation, supporting any allies with Rune traps (mostly paralysis runes that paralyzes anyone who steps in one for a short while.) Oddly in combat Andrew (despite him being the guy who tries to stay away from conflicts), shows a far more calm demeanor which is somewhat surprising when compared to his more shy nature.

Race: Vampire (pure blood)

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Magic Type: Dark

Bio: Being the youngest daughter of a powerful vampire lord, Seki Rarely got any attention from her father or mother. Her parents were always preoccupied with work and study to play with there little girl. Seki often kept herself locked in her room where she read books, listened to music and occasionally talked to strangers on the internet. Every day she would drink her fill of blood from a wine glass brought to her on a silver platter. She was treated like a princess, never having to lift a finger to do anything. Such a life was pleasurable and peaceful, but she was never truely happy in her home.

At the age of 11 Seki met a girl in an online chatroom who used the screan name "Vampireprincess254". Finding the name ironic, Seki began chatting with the girl and the two became freinds. The girll turned out to be a normal human girl who had become obsessed with vampires due to there overwhelming popularity in media, putting them in books, video games, movies and the like. The girl told Seki all about her life. Things like going to school and eating ice cream at the park and eating her grandmothers home made cooking.

These stories seemed so strange to Seki at first, but she slowly started to imagine them. The human girl's lfe was so filled with laughter and joy. By the time Seki had turned 13, she had made up her mind. She told her father she wanted to go to public school with the human kids. Suprised and a bit suspisious her father questioned her, asking her what could have provoked such an unusual desire. She was already years above anyone in her grade level, if anything a public human school would have been too easy.

Seki was embarrassed about asking at first, but after hearing the doubt in her father's voice, she though up a lie and thought it up quick. "I don't think you've been giving me a proper curriculum." she stated boldly as she stared her father down with a sly grin on her face. Her father, more confused than angry asked her to repeat herself. Seki then challenged him saying she would learn a lot more going to a public school than the waistband of ignorance that was her family's privet school. This outraged her father, but rather than arguing Seki made a wager with him. She would go to a public high school for 4 years. when she returned if her siblings were smarter than she, then Seki would give up her birth right and become a maid in the manor. But if Seki returned more intelligent than every single one of her siblings, when the time came for her father to retire, She would take his place as mistress of the castle.

Her father agreed, and the next spring Seki moved to an old building in the country, where she started her freshmen year of high school. Seki's maturing body, perfect grades, and the fact that she came from a rich family made her popular without her having to put forth any effort. Being a vampire didn't hurt either. Even with her overwhelming popularity Seki kept to herself. At lunch she would always sit under a shady tree and read, studying philosophy and poetry from multiple languages. It didn't take long for her to realize the transition from drinking blood every day to having to live of normal food was going to be a painful process.

The hunger was unbearable and she started to get symptoms of withdrawal. Eventually she learned to manage it on her own, but the hunger was still there. In the weeks to come Seki received several gifts from both men and women who sought her as a potential girlfriend. She turned every one of them down, knowing she would live for eternity while any mortal lover she took on would die in a few hundred years. Eventually the majority of the love struck mortals gave up after being rejected, however there was one boy who was more persistent than any of the others. He was a sophomore, a year older than her.

He was handsome, rich, good at sports and a complete asshole. He was the kind of guy who got a kick out of bullying anyone weaker than him and he felt as though everyone was below him. He spoke o Seki as if he owned her or as if she were some prize to be won, or bought by him. Eventually she had, had enough of him. She resisted the erg to beat him up and instead decided to have a litle fun with him. She told the boy she would never date a mortal who would die and leave her lonely for all eternity, and insisted he become immortal before the two of them cold date. The boy insisted that he was "in love" with Seki and insisted she give him immortality.

Seki told the boy that for him to become a creature of the night, being bitten wasn't' enough, that he needed to preform a ritual. This was a lie but the boy knew nothing of what true vampires were like, so he had no choice but to trust what she said. Seki had tricked the boy into fighting his best friend (who was also an asshole) and preforming a blood ritual on his body. A ritual which Seki had made up herself where the boy would carve into his fiend's body with a knife while avoiding any vital organs that would cause the boy to die. After the ritual was over the boy feed his friend's blood to Seki as an offering to gain his immortality.

The next day the rich boy was arrested for attempted murder and the other boy was taken to the hospital. When questioned Seki gave only fake tears as she explained "I tried to stop him, he thought it would make him immortal" The Police bought the girl's sob story and even took pity on her. In one night Seki had ended her two greatest problems in highscchool, her thirst for blood and the annoying rich boy who kept harassing her. All was quite after that. Seki was easing through he first semester and enjoying the holidays that came at the end of the year. Christmas was nice but she loved Halloween the most.

Just before new years eve however something strange started happening. Seki had been experiencing strange phenomenon she couldn't explain. At times it seemed a dark aura would spill from her body which had odd and often chaotic on whatever it came into contact with. When her father got word of this, he was shocked. He had had many children, more than 20 in an attempt to bear one child who possessed the magic he did. Seki's father rushed as quickly as he could to where his daughter was staying. He took his daughter into his arms, and for the first time ever told his child he loved her. He surrendered the wager he and Seki had made and told her that she would become the mistress of the Kyuketsi clan once she had learned to control her power. He even had a special hoody made for his daughter which was enchanted with the power to protect her from the light of the sun.

The next few years would be possibly the greatest of Seki's life. She had everything she wanted. She was promised to be the next leader of her clan, she lived the exciting life of a high school girl and she was never hungry for too long. As her body matured the hunger she felt only made her more focused and she learned to use it to her advantage. During summer break her father would pop in and try and teach her a bit about magic here and there, but the stubborn teen refused to spend more than an hour or two learning about magic in her free time. She managed to learn a thing or two regardless and even picked up a few tomes about magic, the different kinds of magic and basic spell casting. Seki graduated high school at the top of her class and was voted most likely to succeed. Made since considering she had never failed. After high school however Seki became somewhat bored. She hated the ia of spending all day every day training her magic with her father. He was a boring teacher and he certainly couldn't compare to the thrill Seki felt while attending her high school. Eventually Seki's mother convinced her father that the university would be a better learning environment for Seki and he reluctantly agreed. Little Seki now 18 years of age, waits paciantly for this long bus ride to end. With a devilish smile and a cool head, she embraces her future at the magic academy.

Luggage: Seki has 2 bags full of clean clothes. She has an MP3 player tucked away in her pocket and a small sidebag witich she keeps her books in. The bag has a hidden pocket on it where Seki keeps a credit card which she can use for school purposes or in a case of emergency. A luxury she didn't' have in high school.

Appearance: Seki has short black hair and glowing red eyes. She stands 5,2 inches all with a slender body and small but existent chest. Her skin is pale and flawless. Her face is feminine and beautiful, she looks younger than she actually is. She wears a black and dark grey hoody with strange markings stitched into it's outer layer. She wears her hood whenever she goes outside to protect her from the sunlight. She wears black pants and shoes with single chain hanging from her right pocket. She can often be seen with a pare of white ear buds with the cord starting at her pocket and ending at the entrance to each of her ears.

Why did you come to the University?: Partly to learn about magic. Partly because her father was a boring teacher and needed to be replaced.

Personality: Seki is very confident in herself and very mischievous. She's very clever and can learn new things very easily. She has a bit of an intimidating aura about her, she uses this in conjunction with her wits to fool and sometimes manipulate other people. She has morals however. She tends to only target people she views as "jerks" and she has a soft spot for children. she won't target anyone who is already suffering (usually). It's also rumored that she manipulates her victims into feeding her blood lust.

Other: Seki has a lot of book smarts about magic but very little practice at actually using magic herself. Kinda like Hermione Granger from the first Harry Potter book. Smart but inexperienced.

Suggestions: This is just an idea for how the vampire race could work in this rp. Feel free to change anything you like.

Vampires have a stronger sense of meel and hearing than humans. They can see perfectly in the dark and see a bit more clearly through smoke and fog. Vampires can usually fight for long periods of time without losing stamina, asuming they haven't skipped any meals. they are stronger phisicly than humans and can run faster, the avarage speed being about 70-100 MPH (feel free to change the speed as you will)

vampire are weaker in the sun pure blooded vampires are damaged by the sun nd if exposed to it long enough can even die from it. Even with protection if a vampire fights in direct sunlight he or she will slowly lose stamina as if they were human. Vampires are nasiated by the smell of garlic and are weak against silver. If a silver blade cuts into their vains it will act like a poison too them, requiering them to either feed or suffer. To kill a vampire you must cut off her head, cut her wih silver enough times, expose her to the sun, (only if pure blooded) burn her to ashes or stab her in the heart with a wooden stake. It can also be done a few differant ways using differant kinds of magic

Vamppires are weak against fire magic bt very durable against ice magic.

A full vampire will have more speed and a cllearer head when thinking but a hungry vampire will have more hightend senses and a lot more strength.

If a vampire turns a human or human animimal highbreed into a vampire, she can only do so at night. The new vampire wll then be a servent to the vampire who turned him/her until he/she has pid oftheri dept. What dept you may ask? When a vampire turns a human, that human gains a percentage of the originalvampire's power. This power can only be restored through feeding. for now lets say the percentage lost is about 20% of her true power. This way it keeps vampires from turning everyone willy nilly to preserve their own power, while also giving them more of a reason to feed.

A vampires senses and althletisism can be enhanced over time. The more feedings you've had the more power you gain. Like what sustic said about a vampire who drinks only blood would be stronger than one eating only norml food,

Name: Real name: Ystmurra (EEST-mu-RAH) Goes by: Allen

Race: Originally a ghoul, looks like a human. Can transform into his ghoul form to scare people. Usually does this to prank.

Age: 22

Bio: all his life, he had been tossed around the gutter, being shut out by everyone because they suspected him of being a demon due to his fire magic abilities and him being a ghoul. However... Ystmurra did not care whatsoever. He tried to make friends, but failed. But that didn't stop him from moving from town to town to do so. He eventually thought of going to the university. He may not have made many friends there, but many more than he ever had.

Gender: Male

What Element/and or type of magic: Fire; he usually uses his mouth as a Flamethrower. He only uses his eyes when he is in ghoul form as fire ball shooters.

Luggage: his arse through the door... And some clothes.

Appearance: his skin tone is a dark grey. He has black messy hair... Very messy hair. Like, bedhead messy. His clothes never get dirty, so he only has two pairs of clothes he switches every month or so. They consist of jeans and a formal shirt. He has bright red eyes. He always has a mischeivous smirk. Like this only with a formal shirt.



As a ghoul, he has dark grey torn robes and chains on each appendage. He has a skull for a face and bright red dots for eyes. You can see the fire swirling inside the skull as is the nature of all ghouls (meaning that inside the skull of each ghoul their power is swirling) Like this, only with fire swirling inside and a little more... Anime?



Why did you come to the University?: to make friends and to use fire magic with only his mouth effectively.

Personality: playful and mischeivous. Sometimes likes to playfully hit on girls. When he is in a relationship, he becomes dedicated to it and will do anything to uphold the relationship. If a break-up occurs, he will become immensly depressed, but the day after acts as if the relationship never even happened.

Other: PLEASE NOTE that him turning into a ghoul DOES NOT MAKE HIM ANY STRONGER/FASTER/SMARTER. He simply becomes scarier.

And in case you missed it, Ystmurra, when going ghoul, DOES NOT POWER UP. If anything, he becomes useful.

Eh...I messed up my characters in the previous TSU and lost track of the story too, let me retry~

Trying out another concept here, I noticed how people prefer to win the battles and battles usually only end with each person giving compromises and with no clear winner in the end(unless the battle was scripted beforehand or smth)

So I want to try a character that does not fight~ No combat capabilities~ Well this does not count since she still has supportive skills but one step at a time XP

Name: Hecate Honryuu

Race: nekomata: Cat Youkai

Age: 18

Bio: Grew up in a city with a few other Nekomata. She wanted to travel around as she grew older and thus learned from an elder how to fit in with human society. She also experimented with her illusion magic and trained til she was able to hide her ears and tails, she didn't bother with her eyes as the vertical pupils were virtually invisible since her irises were black too. She randomly wandered from city to city doing things on a whim. She often joined random human schools to mingle for a few weeks then left, using her illusion magic on her own clothes to imitate the locals and blend in. She also had a habit of playing random pranks using illusion magic on the people she met in school. One day, she created an illusion involving a pail of water falling onto a person's head. After the victim recovered from the shock and found the laughing Hecate, instead of being angry, surprisingly he seemed interested in her magic. The man then told her about Trinity Soul university where she could learn to master her magic. Her interest was piqued and she decided to check it out. After confirming that non-humans were accepted, she found out the location of the university and headed off.

Gender: Female

What Element/and or type of magic: Light Magic, but is actually more proficient in using illusion magic. Only capable of creating average strength barriers and heal minor wounds with her light magic. She has developed her illusion magic more, complemented by her light magic, she habitually maintains illusions all day long.

Luggage: Several changes of clothes carried around in a small bag and what she is wearing, nothing else.

Appearance: Long black hair and black eyes with vertical pupils standing at about 1.6 meters tall. When her cat ears appear, they are usually not that visible as they blend in with her hair and she also keeps them down most of the time, has twin tails that are also black. Her cat form is a small black twin-tailed cat with white paws.

Why did you come to the University?: Just for fun and out of curiosity.

Personality:Her personality is different depending on her form. She is more shy when in human form and hides away but playful in cat form. It is when she is in the form part way between the two where she appears human with cat ears and twin tails that she plays more pranks. She tends to avoid direct confrontations in all forms.

Other: She never bothered to learn how to control her forms, treating it as a fun "spice" to life. She has no control over it and thus switches randomly between human and cat form, most often staying somewhere in the middle. The difference in personality is mainly due to her different form of consciousness as a cat. She keeps her memories while in both forms but due to the difference in consciousness, she thinks differently in each form. Due to this, she also seems unable to use magic while in cat form.

When it comes to battles, it really depends on the people fighting, and if it was a scripted fight. Even then scripted fights can go not the way I had planned. So when it comes to me planning fights, I have thought of 2-3 fights where the Protagonists will
lose to the antagonist that will be taking part in that battle (but how the protagonists will lose the fight is up in the air.) I have planned many other fights to happen, but that is all I have planned for the other future fights (just plan a schedule for when these fights I'm talking about will happen, but how the fights go down is up to the RPers who take part in that battle.)

So yeah... that is all I can say about your comment on battles.

Anyways your character is accepted Book, try to be as active as possible. If you know you are going to be inactive at certain points please let me know.

Just a heads up for all the RPers, it is accepted to take your time when posting because we all have things to do in the real life, so if you have x reason to be busy for more than 24 hours, please let the others know

Also, if you decide to leave for a reason, take in mind your characters can't just disappear and leave like nothing happened, so to avoid having this issue, talk with the GM and see a way to make your character depart in a ligical way.

Yeah pay attention to what Kristia said. I at least want everyone to try and be active, but don't rush yourselves with posts as not all of us are going to be capable of posting immediately after someone else posts. Some people might be busy IRL, or just like to take their time with posting. So yes. Take your time, but at least try to post when someone has a post for you in the IC. It doesn't have to be immediately, but it shouldn't take too long either.

On top of that Kristia does have a point. If you ever decide to leave this RP for any reason whatsoever, then please do not just leave and do nothing with your character. Doing so was the main reason behind me restarting this RP. When TRXD and Major suddenly left they had left their characters in the middle of interacting with other characters. That in turn paused the whole RP pretty much. So if you do decide to leave, try and do something about it. If you leave come up with a reason/way to try and get your character out of the RP (like say they couldn't attend the University anymore due to family issues, or something else.) That way you can actually get your character out of the RP without holding everything up.
