So basically, the universe not really a simulation, but the experiment of a higher being, and Another is basically ascended to a higher plane of existence, correct?

Oh, I just wanted to be sure that you knew that I wasn't trying to make a scene, or give you a hard time, I just really saw it as an emergency.

The universe is a simulation, but one identical to how the universe we live in is probably simulated. And yes Another ascended somehow to this higher plane.

And it's alright. I suppose it's only me and Wriggle that like big plot twists.

One last question: Is Gensokyo considered the "Real world"?

Well, considering the canon of Touhou, it would be in the real world. They would be video game characters by their own choosing. in a way, you could probably say that they, along with all the other mythological creatures, would be like the first video game characters, and that the reason why there are other universes is for the same reason Youkai were created. Once a large group of people began to share the same idea of a universe and the characters in it, it would eventually materialize into another universe, one that would be realistic in every regard, except for the fact that it was created by beings from another universe.

When you say simulation, do you mean like numbers, coding, and data, or probability, flesh and bone simulations?

My qualm was it being an artificial world where everything is just numbers and software. In the real world, there would be organic material.

I'l talking about computer simulations. They are so lifelike that they are pretty much real tough. It won't impact the RP in any way except a group of extremely jealous people.

I still haven't slept yet because I've been thinking of a way to stick to the original concept while still using your parts.

I haven't slept in 2 days, and I'm going on 3 days, so bear with me here...

My problem is with the universe being a program. Why does it need to be a program? What about all the other universes? The Devourer said that he visited many dimensions for planets. What about Xehanort wanting to combine all worlds and dimensions?

I was thinking that a biological universe would work better. After all, these beings are supposed to be advanced. Instead of numbers and coding, probability and improbability would dictate how the world works. The multiverse was created by a machine, but the machine only served as a catalyst. The multiverse is now being sustained by probability and improbability. This would tie in the improbability drives. think of the multiverse as a set of particles created by a giant machine. For the people inside the multiverse, an eternity is an eternity, but for the upper layers to the multiverse, an eternity is but a couple of seconds. I could draw a diagram of the multi-layered multiverse if you want.

You see where I'm going with this, right?

In all honesty, I find both the program/simulation idea and my idea to be overly complicated and unneeded, but I really am trying to find a way to keep the RP intact. You haven't been given many opportunities to participate in the RP, so I'm trying to make your contributions count when they arise. I honestly don't know what you're planning, so I can only go on assumptions and try to come up with ways to remedy the situation.

PS: I'm going to get off the computer for a while. My eyes hurt. I'm probably going to go do other things until I start to feel sleepy. I really can't sleep. I can only imagine how long I'm going to sleep once I do manage to fall asleep. I feel like I can go on forever, but that's obviously not healthy. My eyes burn a little, but that's all I feel. Why not make him a character? Like what if someone was in the process of making a game that coincidentally had the same concept, but Another was the only character made before the Horizon incident and he is convinced that the real world is his own. Just throwing that out.

In all honesty how the world works doesn't really matter. The thing that matters is that this universe is just a part of something much bigger. (this universe is a atom of a bigger universe, this universe is a simulation created by a bigger universe, this universe is a a part of a much bigger biological system.) It doesn't really matter what the case is as long as Another is a higher being that is part of a higher universe, unable to interact with this universe.
