Lol. That or Elesis had somehow managed to get a hold of Jack's swords.
It also makes me want to introduce Elesis as her Blazing Heart class into the sequel even though she has only been released in Korea. Maybe she would join the group when they do go to Elrios (the world of Elsword), and would join the fight against Ran. Turning the tables to the Protagonists favor big time.
Elesis as her Blazing Heart class:
The class before Blazing Heart, the Pyro Knight is more focused on fire magic rather than sword-wielding. As opposed to Elsword's Magic Knight class who uses round-shaped fireballs, a Pyro Knight utilizes wild, irregular-shaped flames. She is also capable of summoning burning swords out of ground. Anyone who is foolish enough to engage a Pyro Knight in battle can expect to get burned.
Then when Elesis advanced to Blazing Heart she becomes more adept in using her flames, a Blazing Heart is capable of controlling the movements of the flame. She is also able to leave little fragments of her flames onto her targets and detonating them when she see fit.

I don't think she actually fights backhand completely in Elsword. I think only a few combos involve backhanded attacks =.=
