Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.
You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

Hey guys. I'm back, using my friends computer.
I was thinking of something.
Dante's guns vs John's guns.
Dante:
Ebony and Ivory:
Ebony & Ivory are both M1911-style handguns chambered for the .45 ACP round, and boast a plethora of customized features:
Both pistols have been modified with pivot-style triggers as opposed to the 1911's usual straight-pull trigger
Both feature custom sight systems; Ebony uses a set of target sights, while Ivory uses a pair of combat sights
Both feature ported muzzle compensators that reduce recoil and counteract muzzle flip. Both barrels are extend through the compensators and are ported to match the cuts in the compensators.
Both use custom slides that have been noticeably thickened and reinforced along the slide travel rails and around the chamber and firing mechanism. The result is a slide that bears a resemblance to SIG-Sauer's M1911 line.
Rails have been bolted to the forward portion of both frames. These rails are used to hold the compensators in place.
Both use double-stack magazines with slam-pads.
Both have gold-plated magazine releases, hammers, safety switches and triggers.
Ebony features a hooked, two-handed trigger-guard, while Ivory uses a more traditional rounded trigger-guard.
Both weapons use ergonomic wood grips which are inlaid with portraits of Victorian women; as befits their names, Ebony's is dark-haired, and Ivory's is fair-haired.
Ebony's Ejection port is located on the left side of the weapon, as opposed to the right side (as Ebony is meant to be used left-handed, this causes spent brass to be ejected away from Dante.)
Spiral:
The Spiral is a modified Lahti L-39 20mm anti-materiel rifle. The Spiral features a shortened barrel, a wood handguard (which replaces the L-39's standard bipod) and a carry handle in front of the magazine housing. All of these modifications make the Spiral easier to wield without hindering the shooter's mobility.
Due to Dante being a half demon he can wield the spiral like no one's business.
He also oddly doesn't have to reload with Ebony & Ivory or the spiral (in fact in all Devil May Cry games he has infinite ammo for crying out loud.)Do you really think I'm that stupid? *Walks into a door* Okay maybe I am that stupid...

No matter how reliable a gun is if the wielder of the gun isn't all to skilled then the gun can be useless. So you will have to measure Dante and John's skill with guns. John probably (and most definitely) has more skill with guns than Dante is. Though if I remember with the Gunslinger style Dante can pull of feats with guns that make you go WTF

Oh yea like with the Fireworks skill with the Gunslinger style when you have the Shotgun equipped. Dante whips the freaking double barrel shotgun like nunchucks around his body blasting everything near him (it looks freaking badass when he does it.)Do you really think I'm that stupid? *Walks into a door* Okay maybe I am that stupid...

Ok.
(Some, if not all of the stuff is ripped from the Wiki.)
M6 Series Pistol
The M6 series weapons are recoil-operated and magazine-fed, and typically fire 12.7 x 40mm projectile ammunition, and despite the large caliber, oftentimes "exotic" ammunition is not utilized. They are also remarkably large and overpowered to an extent, appearing to be redolent of a cross between a pistol or a rifle in size. In addition to power, the M6 line of weaponry is designed to be rugged and reliable, and they remain operational after Slipspace transitions and high-g aerial maneuvers. However, the heavy weight limits its distribution amongst personnel, and the M6 weapons have a tendency to drop casings on the wielder's foot,[1] leading some UNSC personnel to favor the M7/Caseless Submachine Gun which operates on a caseless system.
John is easily able to used this pistol without having to worry about recoil and hot casings hitting his feet. The ammo it uses is 12.7 x 40mm (Semi-Armor Piercing,High Explosive) ammo.
BR85HB SR Battle Rifle
(Description on the poster.)---VVV
"The BR85HB Service Rifle is a gas-operated, magazine-fed, semi-automatic rifle optimized for three-round burst firing, and proven to be an extraordinarily versatile weapon at a wide variety of ranges in the hands of a capable marksman."
The BR85HB Service Rifle is a gas-operated, magazine-fed selective fire rifle optimized for three-round-burst firing, and proven to be extraordinarily effective against dissipative energy shielding on both exotic and domestic armor types. It has a magazine size of 36 rounds, and fires in three-round bursts, thus giving 12 bursts before depleting the magazine.
It uses 9.5x40mm (Semi-Armor Piercing,High Explosive) rounds.
Barret 50 Caliber Rifle
Self explanatory.
RPG
A weapon that shoots Rocket Propelled Grenades.
.950 JDJ
This is a gun I wanted John to get in the future.
This is THE ULTIMATE armor piercing weapon!!!
I was thinking that it could be a militarized version of the gun, or even custom made.
John would be able to handle it, due to his weight and strength, and god help you if he melees you with it.
Punt Gun
A guy can dream, can't he?
The punt gun uses 2-gauge shells and is F*CKING HUGE!!!
John would be okay for the most part, but he would definitely be affected by the recoil.Last edited by S121; 06-20-2013, 04:35 AM.Originally posted by S121Every time I see a new post on the Forum, I feel like a little kid during Christmas, all giddy.sigpic

Artemis: (A gun I want Dante to definitely get in the future.)
The Artemis is a demonic gun which fires arrows imbued with demonic energy. It has the ability to fire multiple shots at either one or many enemies at a time. Its shots are able to stun most enemies, and has a slow recharge. The Artemis makes up fire it with the ability to lock onto 5 targets at once (When locked on to more than one enemy it fires 5 lasers [if 5 enemies are locked on to] at the same time which then each laser hits each target at the same time.]
Grenadegun:
The Grenadegun's design is derived from modern "revolver launchers", such as the Penn Arms TL-8, which utilize a revolver-style system to fire either 37mm or 40mm grenades. It fires slowly, but is very powerful. It becomes even more dangerous when Dante is in Devil Trigger as the grenade's that are fired become electrified. Though the electrified grenades is from Dante's side, not the Grenadegun's side.Do you really think I'm that stupid? *Walks into a door* Okay maybe I am that stupid...
