Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.
You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

The replica fell to the ground. His body began turning into darkness itself. His voice was weak now. "Thank you John we now have enough data to make the replica.
You know, i really didn't want to do it. Being a replica stinks. It allows me to become something else tough." The darkness then began forming rapidly over the replica.
Master Xehanort then appears from behind. "You know, I think you held back a little bit to much. Curaza. We have the data anyway so it doesn't matter". The boy suddenly appeared beside Xehanort, then they both disappeared into the darkness again.
Meanwhile the orb of dark energy grew stronger and stronger. The suck created from it began effecting people on the ground.

Vinnie and Spike easily resisted against the orb's effects.
"This is for you, copper, nyah!" Vinnie threw a smokescreen into the orb, cancelling it's effects fully and utterly.
