    Kalkun - 8:42

    Jason smirked, then spoke.

"So I was right you are a speed mage. It's not very often I get to see other ones.", Jason said.

Jason then switched his demeanor to a slightly more serious one and spoke again.

"We're going into the Everbloom Forest to destroy some Titanium mines that Tyruss is using. I believe he's going to use them to create Titanium weapons and armor for his army. Our friend already went ahead, but we'll meet before she attacks.

"And as for me," Otori said, "I'm just here to hunt someone. I want to bring him back home. And if you have his head, I'll have yours. Simple as that. Now then... time to move."

He walked off, but then stopped. He turned around looking confused.

      "Um... which way?"

        Kalkun

"W-wait a minute friend," chattered a villager as they tried in vain to make sense of whatever the village had gone through. "Do you have any medical supplies? Potions? Anything?"

"Sure thing," Eric grunted as he tightened the straps on his pack mule's luggage. He glanced back at the villager. "As long as you're paying."

        "Pay? We just g-"

But Eric was already moving away from the inn and the villagers with his mule in tow. The town was such a mess that it was no longer fit for a merchant. He had so little supplies that could combat fire and heal the dead, so why bother staying to investigate? The events had nothing to do with him. In fact, they were all so random and unwarranted that it made Eric's head spin. One minute there was a fire, the next there were a few deaths from psychos, and then there was a high speed chase. Fruitless, but idiotic.

The gravel crunched under his boots as the merchant took the southern path out of the town. He counted himself lucky to be alive, and even more so, lucky that he was ignored for the most part. A merchant was a prime candidate for ransacking in a chaotic situation. Perhaps he just looked like any other villager; easily pushed and shoved aside. The realization did not bother Eric in the slightest. He was no warrior, no problem solver. All he did was supply people with goods and equipment. It wasn't a poor existence at all if it kept him alive.

Bob lazily chewed on a carrot that Eric held out to him. It was good that the mule was unharmed in the ruckus, and thanks to his dim-witted demeanor, it seemed that the animal was not bothered at all by the sheer amounts of crazy that had just been dumped on Aeterna. Eric sighed and looked to the east. So far, his travels were not as fruitless as he imagined. He got 100 gold and a bronze medallion, free food and board, and a warm welcome to the morning. Now, the Everbloom Forest and its bounty awaited him, and damned would Eric be if he turned down its call. He readjusted his pack and quickened his step.

"Um... which way?", Otori asked as he tried to find where the forest was.

Jason pointed to the south-east and spoke.

"There. The Everbloom forest is in the south-east. We should probably get going soon, or else Seki's going to be fighting alone.", Jason said to Otori.

Jason knelt down on one knee in front of Otori and held his arm out to the side, in the shape of an upward hook.

"Well? Go on and lay on my shoulder. We're taking the fast way to the forest.", Jason said in a slightly impatient tone.

Jason wanted to hurry and meet up with Seki as soon as possible. It was mainly so he could either build things for his new partners, or work on something for himself.

Otori wasn't used to this kind of thing. He hesitated.

"Um... Well, I guess it couldn't hurt. But remember I'm a wind mage as well, if that giant wind sphere didn't convince you." He said with a chuckle. "Bu then again, being a balanced, that wind sphere too a lot out of me."

            He finally found the capsule.

"I don't know what this is made of. But a good friend of mine gave it to me. It can store air pressure and other explosive chemicals. It can really hold together well."

Otori didn't realize it, but it was actually made of titanium, manufactured by the company Jason's dad used to work for.

              Everbloom forest

Kris was walking through the calm forest and her stomach started to rumble a bit ("Hm.. I need something to eat") she thought starting so search for some food.

There were many animals, instead the huntress decided to gather some berries. Moving through the many bushes she found some red colored berries, by picking one of them and tasting just a bit of it, she knew it was poisonous ("Perfect to paralyze or take down any target easily") she chuckled while gathering the red berries and putting them int her right pouch

Searching for more fruit, Kris got the luck to find purple berries ("This is perfect!) her mind flared in joy as she tasted them and felt her energy being revitalized and taking the purple berries in her left pouch
Have you ever crossed the line between sanity and madness? You would be amazed by what lies beyond the fog..

Jason looked up at the capsule Otori was holding and immediately knew what it was made out of.

"That's a Titanium Alloy capsule. You can tell mainly by its color. It's a very good metal.", Jason said as he waited for Otori to lay his stomach on his shoulder.

Jason was curious about where Otori got such a high-quality item, not only because of its craftsmanship, but also because it looked familiar, so he decided to ask.

"So, whaea did you get that capule?", Jason asked.

Otori did as Jason told him.

"Oh, this? I'm not sure. But my friend got it from a trip here. He's a dealer in a casino. We were like brothers. Well, that is, me, him, and HM. But ever since the wound he obtained from a fight, HM changed... Well, I'll tell you later. He said he bought it from someone at some mine. Not sure who though... You're pretty good at identifying metals, aren't you?"

All of a sudden, Jason finally realized why it looked familiar. He had to make a couple of the capsules for a customer.

"Ahhh, so that's why they look so familiar. That was one of my first 'projects'. My dad let me build them as my first trial or test, to see if I had what it took to become a full time blacksmith. How do you like it?", Jason asked in an upbeat voice.

"So you guys are headed back to Everbloom then?"

Phenom placed a fist in his palm with a confident grin on his face.

"Well if whatever you're doing is a detriment to Tyruss, I'm coming with you."

"Follow me then.", Jason said as he waited for Otori to lay on his shoulder.

                          Everbloom Forest

Seki had been traveling for a while now through her territory the woods. She was skilled in her movements as she jumped from tree to tree while preforming many summersaults and graceful jumps. Even though she didn’t know exactly where the mines were, she had seen them a few times before while she had been walking about. She was slightly past half way to the mine when she stopped for a moment on the branch of a tree. Seki sniffed the air searching for the sent of the enemy. She also looked back to see if Jason was following her yet.

“What’s taking that Rooky so long?” She grumbled “I bet he stopped and talked to that guy anyways.

Seki sniffed the air a bit longer until she finally caught wind of the titanium mine. It seemed Tyruss’s men had already taken over the establishment but fortoinetly they had yet to send the first shipment of titanium ore to Tyruss. (or whoever was over the operation) Seki dashed towards the sent, now being determined to destroy their first target with or without Jason’s help.

As soon as Otori laid his stomach on Jason's shoulder, Jasin spoke.

"Okay, I hope you're ready...", Jason said as he wrapped his arm around Otori's stomach and back.

Jason jumped up with Otori, but instead of a normal jump, Jason shot 500 feet into the air and began to soar through the sky.

"So, How do you like flying?", Jason asked his passenger.

Jason looked over to Otori and chuckled.

"Yea, you just better not throw up on me, or else I'll drop you.", Jason jokingly said.

Jason looked out into the distance and saw that they were approaching the forest. The Everbloom Forest was just like Jason had left it, partially burning and charred on the edges.
Jason then surveyed their destination, but had to put his hand over his eyes just to see further along in the distance.

"We'll get to the Titanium mines soon, so you better be ready to go as soon as we land.", Jason warned Otori.
