@Cucoo

Wow... That's pretty accurate. 0-0

Now I want to toss some characters into it. A shame I don't have the game. All I have right now is. Minecraft.

That reminds me, I have actually been building Ethan's ship in FTB, and it is 2.5 football fields long so far. As you can imagine, it takes forever, but it gives me something to do in between working on the PALADIN Arc.

Anyways, back on track. What if we created some of the ships in FTB? I actually managed to cram a ton of mods into a single modpack.

Also, what class do you think Ethan's ship would fall under, considering its size?

Hah...
The "ship" I would want to create is actually the Daedalus Project.
It would take a small lifetime to build considering it has 4-6 stars incorporated in its structure.

As for class...
Eh...
I don't think the old classification system applies in Phoenix.
Though maybe Kappa?

But what about a minature model? Use something like the Hell of Blazing Fires in the Gensokyo build as suns, and build the general structure.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

True... scale model would help...

Eh here's a model I just whipped together. The lava and stained glass structures denotes where stars go. there's 7 total in this.

Ok just to get some confirmation before I do anything

So I'm thinking on bringing Ignis over to Alcyon.

Where she was left off I could possibly figure out a way to bring her over.
And I'm thinking this would possibly require a very short bit on a part in orbit around Nevaraas and Alcyon, where deactivated warp gates exist.

I'm also thinking this might help nudge things towards the Shrine of Seasons if something goes wrong with the gate and it screws up Ignis's transport.
The things that I would like to see happen: a brief thing about how the company that SUS has is fixing up the gates. This leads to a test and everything seems fine until Ignis goes through it and her ship goes haywire and doesn't go total derp until it enters the atmosphere of Alcyon.

I'm still debating a few details so feel free to pitch in anything ya want to do with this.

To be honest I really like that idea Cucoo. If you want we can discuss it further if you do have any questions that I can help with.

Primarily I just need a good set-up ahead of schedule so that the testing of the Gate attracts Ignis's attention. i.e. they manage to open it and it can be seen from the colony as like a brilliant green star.

I could probably make a post describing Ignis walking out and upon looking skyward, notices the glint of green that signifies the gate opening.
But what's happening at the gate is up to you.

Oh and I'm fond of the concept that Star Fox: Assault had for its warp gate (purely because it seems to be able to vary in size and only one I know of to do so.)

But that's just me. If you happen to know of something better then go ahead.

@Cucoo

The moment I can think up a proper post is when I will make a proper post for the Warp Gate... Though that can take some time...

take your time.
I don't intend on moving forward until the weekend. Right now I'm trying to survive the week with a small head cold.

hm..what about mass effect FTL (Faster Than Light) traveling by using the relays? the ship (no matter the size) could travel the whole galaxy in less than a day , it would obviously vary depending on the size of the ship and its engines.

So a small vessel would take an hour or two between relays while a mother ship or something of gigantic size would take several hours
