John quickly waved his hands in a sweeping motion, causing all the danmaku to disappear in a near instant. After that, John looked at Patchouli, then at Elios.
"I guess Patchouli was right.", John said to Elios.
"Because some people are evil and deserve to die.", John said to Shulk in an emotionless tone as he pulled out his Barrett .950 JDJ sniper rifle.

holding her ribs and the magician, Renamon spoke "we all have our bad fights, but everything is beatable, we just git to find the weakness" she said handling the estus flask to patchouli and grabing her digivice to evolve all the way to sakuyamon
Nera was actually smiling "he is just another fight on our lives, don't worry" she said as her bracelet glowed and she transformed into her mega form still with a limping arm but throwing aura spheres with the other one

Jason did an annoyed smirk.
"Ya know, I remember someone who said something like that a long time ago."
His smile faded.
"I stabbed the shit out of him."
Jason then felt something. It was a green syringe. He knew he had one more. But then... If he used it on her, then...
Jason ran up to Patchouli.
"Here. This will heal you. Not completely, but with that flask, you should be feeling good as new. It's my last one, so don't let this go to waste."
He left the syringe beside her.
"Now either you use that and run... Or use that and help us beat the living shit outta your old man."

"Everyone... I'll be fine." Patchouli coughed. Blood came out. It was clearly obviously that she wasn't fine.
"You must try and rejuvenate yourself." Annie suggested. Patchouli smiled at her and nodded. She looked at the recovery items: estus flask from Renamon and the odd green syringe from Jason. They would certainly help her recover in physical health, but her magic...
"Guys, save these for after the fight." Patchouli said, taking commanding tone of voice. "I need everyone to chip away at his magical barrier, as much as possible. None of your attacks will harm him... not even your Purge, Shulk, but they can surely help with weakening that barrier, little by little."
Patchouli drew her Philosopher's Stone: the gem that shone in rainbow-like color.
Are you sure you want to do this? Patchouli's inner conscience asked.
I have people to back me up after. Patchouli denounced her doubt inside her mind.
"I will see you all later..."

sakuyamon nodded to patchouli and used her energy to charge Nera all she could, her robes were staining in red by the pressure "Give him your best shot" the priestess said obviously getting drained
Nera focused all her aura on her good arm and faced it to Eleos. With all her strenght the lucario growled "Aura storm!!" she unleashed a massive beam of aura directly to the magician

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.
You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

Takoizu was a little disappointed about how little information there was on "The Darkness" and The Auditor. She needed to at least know about how he fought, as well as what countermeasures she would need to prepare for John for when he would have to confront "The Darkness".
"So does The Darkness come from The Auditor when he dies? That's what I'm assuming from what The Gravemind told me. Is there anything that has more information on The Darkness?", Takoizu asked The Higher Power.
