    "I stole it." Patchouli blankly said. "I stole it from Dominus and the Consumer when they were preparing to leave. Then I fused it with Arcanotechnology to create an entirely new portal device. This beauty doesn't leave behind residues, nor does it create entropy in space."

    Patchouli dropped the blue extract into the engine's pump. The engine began to overwork as blue plasma door formed on the metal frame next to the engine.

    "I call it Knowledge Engine."

      The agents didn't even near the dumpster, but blasted the zombies and abominations with a flurry of shells and bullets, then turning and walking back to the main group.

      Science Tower

      Phobos and Jesus fought for a grueling 40 minutes easily, never wavering in their strength and being quick to correct any possible errors in each other's sword-fighting.

      "You've gotten better Christoff, I must say, i'm impressed." Phobos said.

      "So have you." Jesus replied.

      "Being dead for a good thirty years gives one a lot of time to train, though that was down in Hell. Lovely place, actually. You should visit it when we're done here." Phobos taunted.

      "Enough of this." Jesus said, firing out a bolt of energy, knocking Phobos down. "I've grown sick of you, Phobos. I think it's time to end this."

      Jesus pulled out his revolver. Phobos tried to knock it away, but failed. Jesus aimed the revolver, and fired.


      Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

      You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

        John looked at the portal, then back at Patchouli.

        "I'm surprised that the Consumer's drive looks like the Shaw-Fujikawa Slipspace Drives from my universe. Good to hear that it's safer than our drives., John commented.

        "I take it this will take me to where I'll need to go?", John then asked Patchouli.

          "At least I didn't have to go through the trouble." The Doomguy said to himself before he looked at his pistol. "I hope there's any ammunition nearby." He then sets to look around the city.

            If Doomguy listened closely, he would probably hear a conversation occurring inside the building next to where he was.

                John felt a little impatient over the mission, but he knew Patchouli still needed a little more time to prepare. He wanted to finish the mission as soon as possible, but he knew that it was risky to enter it at this point in time. At the very least, John could prepare for the trip and give Yuuka a heads up that he was now leaving for her soul.

                "Okay. In the meantime, I'm going to tell Yuuka the news. I'm sure she'll be happy to hear that she'll be back to her old self.", John calmly said to Patchouli.

                  The Doomguy stops up and moves closer to the building he hears small noise from. He looks for a window to listen from and stands beside it, back against the wall.

                    "Make sure you get an ally that is skilled with magic while you are at it." Patchouli advised as she traveled back to her desk. "From what I can tell, wherever you are going, magic is lethal, but in a different way than our magic."

                    "Marisa is too busy probably... And Alice would like to repair her house after that one accident... You'll be able to find someone, you're more amiable than I anyway."

                    "That's all I can tell you. You may leave now."

                    ...and Patchouli dug herself into a pile of books once again.

                      John thought for a moment and spoke again. He had a feeling that Patchouli would say no, but it was worth a shot. After all, she was very knowledgeable about where he was going, and was a very adept magician.

                      "I.. suppose you wouldn't be willing to go, would you?", John sheepishly asked Patchouli.

                        Then, a big thud could be heard from the back of the mansion. It was too big for any fairy.

                        On the outside, the mysterious man was rubbing his head in pain.

                        "Shhh, ah... F*ck..."

                        He stood up. "Well... At least I'm on campus. Now then, let's find a way in."

                        He began crawling through the foliage, stopping at any sign of presumably hostile life.

                            Even after knowing Patchouli for four months, John was still in awe by her ability to tune everything out. Perhaps it was because she immersed herself further into a story than most people could, like a dream, or maybe it was because she didn't feel like answering John's question. John didn't really mind if she was ignoring him. Besides, he had more important things to do, like tell Yuuka the news. John simply waved at Patchouli , then disappeared through a Corridor of Darkness.

                            Out on the outskirts of The Garden of the Sun, A corridor of Darkness opened up and John stepped out.

                              The first thing John could notice is jets of poison carrying around large chunks of netallic debris from the war four months ago. Amongst the poison that was cleaning the garden at a slow but steady pace was Medicine.

                              Medicine was an interesting child. She detested socialization, spent her days playing in the poisonous Nameless Hill. She looked doll-like, with pale skin, blonde hair and red eyes.

                                John was a little surprised that there was still debris from the war left over. If he knew that there were still bits of metal still lying around, he would have helped clear it. He helped clear the Human Village, and many other locations of debris, but he was never told that this place suffered damage too. John noticed the small jets of poison moving the debris and immediately knew who it was. John looked on his radar and saw a small blue dot on his radar, so he decided to go ask Medicine about the garden's current condition.

                                "Hello Medicine. What happened here? I thought all the debris were cleared from Gensokyo.", John said to Medicine.
