John was a little curious about the unmarked white liquid Jason had in the syringe, but he dismissed it and spoke to Jason.
"Okay. Grab my hand.", John calmly said to Jason as he held his hand out.
Inside the Snake's Mouth - Underground - Santa Cruz - California | Night
Isaac looked at Lujuria through his turquoise visor and used his RIGsuit to create a hologram map of California, with Rena's house marked with a red dot.
"... Just a little bit further.", Isaac said to Lujuria.
It was evident that Isaac didn't like traveling inside the giant snake's mouth, but it seemed like he was at least tolerating it.

"We're here," Lujuria said stepping out of the snake's mouth.

Volgin woke up.
"Ah, you're awake," a voice said.
Volgin opens his eyes. "Who... Wait, is that-"
"Your senses are keen, especially in the state you are in." The voice said, walking to Volgin's side.
"Gh... I thought... You were in Base 1."
"We are in Base 1. Well, a certain wing of it anyways."
"Don't tell me I'm-"
"Don't worry. You won't be hurt. However, I was in need of a test subject... And you fit the bill perfectly."
"How so?" Volgin growled, obviously upset about his current state.
"Well," the voice said, "I chose you as leader of not just any major base, but Base 2. You were given a high honor because of your ability to command with an iron fist. However, being around kind hearts, you have unknowingly softened up. But that's alright. We'll get you back to optimal being. However, we'll need to run more tests before live testing. Rest up."
The voice faded away as a large metal door was heard closing. Volgin closed his eyes, wondering what is in store for him.

Rooftops
Across from Rena's house, the Huntress watched from the rooftops. After putting on the tracking beacon, it was child's play to track the snake down. She kept low and her lights off as she watched and waited for them to make a move.
The Mountain
Malthael flew high, breaking above the clouds, revealing unto him a bright and cheery looking place. Creatures seemingly made of cloth passed him, making odd whale-like sounds. He flew by them as he approached the mountaintop, where the light shone brightly. So close now. So close.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.
You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

The village Phio took Patchouli to was a small ghetto-like area composed with several tents and a small altar-like building jam-packed in a small chamber within the smaller sewer tunnels. Entire colonies of mouses with different shades of green fur, from almost yellow to olive-green, resided in the tents and operated like an independent town. Phio took Patchouli to the altar-like rubble where an old female mouse priestess lived and preached inside.
"Madame, I've brought guests." Phio said to the priestess, who opened her eyes and saw Patchouli.
"It's not often that we get a guest from the surface." The priestess nodded. "I welcome to our humble village."
"She is the daughter of the Creator, Madame." Phio announced, to which Patchouli shrugged. The priestess flinched backwards, and began to bow to Patchouli.
"Oh, the Divine One visits us." The priestess chanted, to which Phio followed her and bowed to Patchouli.
"Wait wait wait, what do you mean, Divine One?" Patchouli flustered and asked.
"Elion the Creator made all of us, the denizens of the Underworld. For he has created us, we must worship him, and all that is associated with him." The priestess bowed.
These peop-mouse folks were following a false god, Patchouli thought, her resolve clear. Before I find the book that contained information about the Associate, I will free these mousefolks from the corrupt so-called "The Creator", my father and my archnemesis, Elios Knowledge.

With Jason in hand, John activated his thrusters and slowly lifted off the ground. Once Jason and he were high enough, John hovered down the hole and placed Jason on the lower floor.
"Stay here. I'm going to get everyone else.", John said to Jason as he flew back up to the upper floor.
John landed on the upper floor again and was ready to take the next person to volunteer.
"Okay, who's next?", John asked the group.

Renamon shooked her head "It´s allright John, I can take care of Nera and I" she spoke using her digivice to evolve all the way to Sakuyamon
Her armor was the the priestess form though "I was wondering if my old armor would reappear if I evolved" she said checking her outfit
"I remember you had to put that before evolving" Nera said gesturing to something on the miko´s backpack
"Looks you are right, I forgot about it, yet this form is good too, come on and let´s head down" Sakuyamon said as the lucario got on her back as they floated through the hole

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.
