Hearing Midna speak from the other room Pit began to reply. "You know if you want I could ask Lady Palutena if it's alright if you stay here for a while. I'm sure she wouldn't mind! She might even make you a room if you ask her nicely." Pit replied as he continued working on getting food started. With the size of the meal, the amount of time it will take to prepare it all will take some time. "I'm glad that Palutena isn't awake yet. I wanted to get dinner started while she was asleep so that it would be a nice surprise for her. Oh and also could you like put my gift I got her under the Christmas Tree in the living room? The gift is the box on the counter in red Christmas wrapping paper. You can't miss it!"

"I will ask her about it when the time comes, no need to rush things" Midna answered Pitīs idea while taking the gift from the objects and putting it under the tree "I didnīt even realized this was Christmas, maybe that is why the city had so many decorations around the streets" she said and remembered that she also had to get something since she was a guest.

The twili opened a hole in the air and looked at it "Now where did I put you" she said while looking in her storage place, she found some rupees, a bag of bombs, a piece of her mirror, and other things she collected on her adventures. She kept going like that until finding what she wanted "A-ha!" she exlaimed taking a sealed vase that surprisingly was warm.

Midna walked to the kitchen with the vase collected under her arm "Just know that I got something for you and your sleeping friend, this soup will be a great revitalization for your body and is perfect for winter times" she said unsealing the vase and the scent of Yetoīs superb soup. "This will stay warm for quite a long time and still taste great"

"Oh thanks! I'm sure we will love it!" Pit said he finally got part of the dinner started. He managed to get the oven heated up and the Turkey and Ham in the oven, along with a few other things set to cook. Now with that all set he stretched a bit before entering the living room with Midna.

"So Midna you like the place?" Pit asked as he approached the Twili. Since he is in the safety of his own home, his nervousness around Midna had vanished.

"It is a good place, quite unexpected by what the building shows though" Midna commented leaning on the counter while crossing her arms "But then again, it is a nice place and for what I managed to see of the neighborhoods, it is placed in a good zone" she said and relaxed "I may have to check some things first like a job and other stuff, but I already got a keepsake in the case of living on this world. Turns out that the humans love Rupees, by both as monetary currency and as accessories."

The former princess fished some of said rupees and looked at them "Iīm good at treasure hunting and making crafts, maybe a jeweler can be a good job while also going on more adventures" she said flipping a purple rupee on her hand "It would be interesting"

Pit just stared at Midna as she began talking about how nice the place was compared to what the rest of the outside building looked, along with how nicely placed this building is in the neighborhood. That just made Pit smile warmly as he laughed a bit.

"Yeah well you can thank Lady Palutena for that. She chose this place and used her powers to expand our living quarters. Her work never ceases to amaze me." Pit replied as he sat down on the couch, continuing to listen to Midna's possible plans as Pit turned on the television with a remote. "Jeweler huh? If you want you can ask Mr. Belmont. He works at an antique store. He could possibly help you find a job or something. Oh and also if you want you can go and wash up in the Hot Spring room. It's straight down the hall and is the final wooden door on the left. I'm sure Lady Palutena wouldn't mind if you take a quick bath or something." Pit spoke, while unbeknownst to him, a certain Goddess of Light is wide awake, and is in fact taking a bath in the Hot Spring room...

"I will ask for you threeīs guidance then, but for the moment Iīll accept your offer" Midna spoke heading to the Hot Spring room, she did felt ok in terms of hygiene, but a bath wouldnīt hurt at all, and she could relax for a moment because there was something within herself that something big would come soon ("And now Iīm like the fairy boy, he did ingrained me some of his skills though") she smiled remembering the green clothed hero as she walked towards the room. She didnīt even want to wonder how there was a spring on the fifth floor of an apartment building in the middle of a city, but she did like the idea of such thing, the room had some steam around making it foggy to see.

Once Midna entered the hot spring room she would notice that despite the fog it looked like a completely entire bathhouse with a decently sized hot spring built for at least 2 people. Along the walls were baskets within little alcoves in the walls to place ones clothes in, some cabinets filled with towls, and bathing supplies ranging from soap to shampoo, to... different kinds of incense. However that wasn't the most surprising thing within the room. Deep within the steam, one could hear the distinct humming of a woman before said humming completely stops.

"Oh hello there. I didn't expect a guest to be here... I assume young Pit had invited you?" Said the female voice within the steam.

"Sorry for intruding, but yes, the little boy and I met by accident and he invited me here" Midna apologized while greeting who she assumed was the other inhabitant of the apartment "I should guess you are Lady Palutena, pleased to meet you, the name is Midna" she said making a small bow to the woman, she could feel the energy radiating from the goddess, but while it was different than hers, it was just like her magic, but with another element. "Thank you for letting me stay at your home for the day"

Palutena could be heard giggling from inside the steam as the sound of someone stepping out of water could be heard as Palutena stepped into view of Midna within the steam. Palutena was clearly was almost nude aside from a towel as she had just gotten out of the hot spring, and thanks to her powers had wrapped herself in a white towel. Any normal woman would be nervous around a stranger, especially in nothing but a towel, but Palutena just seemed to keep smiling. In fact it was like she wasn't paying attention to that little fact at all. Instead she just smiled and bowed to Midna as well.

"Please. Just call me Palutena. Lady Palutena is too formal. Oh and yes, I am aware of your name and how you and Pit met. I had managed to mentally keep watch over Pit while he was out shopping. It's rather nice to have you here. It is not often that we get visitors. I also had saw that you met Julius downstairs. Palutena replied as she began shivering a little. "Ooh even with this steam it's still chilly out of the water~!" Palutena replied as she quickly yet carefully hopped back into the hot spring. "Anyways come and join me. The water is nice and warm."

"I donīt know much about how the body feels towards the weather since I lived in a neutral, yet cold one, so this winter climate is actually good" Midna commented gesturing her sarong and cloak which disappeared in particles making some sort of robe as she got into the water making a sigh "But this.. is what anyone need to relax" she closed her eyes and took her headdress off to let the orange hair flow. The twili couldnīt help but ask though "I wonder though, how did you adapt to the human world? Iīm sure you can pass as a normal person, except from the green hair and the halo that appears from time to time" she asked making circles with a flock of her hair

"Hmm yes quite... The weather here some people might find too cold, while others don't really seem to mind. Fortunately a good hot spring is something nearly anyone I've met seems to enjoy a good hot spring. Especially in cooler weather where the warmth of the water is just relaxing and calming. Almost like all your cares just fades away..." Palutena replied as she seemed to just doze off before regathering her concentration on the conversation. When Midna asked how well Palutena adapted to the world, Palutena thought for a moment before answering.


"Well it wasn't too hard. Where I come from the humans had already advanced enough to have technology such as computers and the like. As such it wasn't too hard. Not only that, but the fact that I am a video game character does get some attention. Of which made me feel both a little embarrassed yet more comfortable with the fact that there are people in this world that also admire me. For us characters, especially us 'popular' ones tend to get quite famous. Thankfully some people respect me enough to allow Pit and I to live a relaitively normal life in simple luxury. It also really helps that I can easily pass off as a human with an interesting hair color." Said Palutena with a small giggle.

Midna was actually relaxed with the woman "You are right on that, the humans have adapted nicely with us and know how to respect the characters, sooner or later we will just be more like part of the diversity than the special group, not that it is a bad thing either" she said thinking of how some characters are now in the normal life instead of doing what they were programmed to. "But some characters like you have it easier than others, just look at me"

The twili gestured to herself smiling to show there was no problem "the bluish skin and black patches of thin fur arenīt the most common thing to see, but interestingly enough, when Pit and I sped our way here, no one batted an eye while seeing me, which Iīm glad for, in hyrule, the people were scared of everything, and Iīm not joking that they would run away from a horde of cuckoos, the variant of this worldīs chicken. But back on track" she took a moment to think "What I mean is that Iīm surprised how they accept us, and thanks to technology and all"

"I agree. Most humans back where we come from would react differently to us. Quite literally as if they were encountering gods, deities, or famous heroes and celebrities. However in this world, thanks to technology, and the fact that we come from these 'games'. We have been able to adapt more or less into society as most of the normal civilians are fully aware of who we are and what not. For example I am a Goddess of my world. The Goddess of Light. People worshipped me, and whenever I came down to the human world, people would bow before me and call my name in worship. However he things are more peaceful. People clearly know who we are, how we act due to the internet and the games they play. People just tend to get to know us better than we would in our world." Said Palutena as she looked over at Midna.


"It really is amazing at how we managed to adapt though..."

"Exactly, they adapted to us while we adapted to them, but then again, there are some who still want to do what they prefer instead of adapting, be it for the good or the bad" Midna spoke sighing with a smile "There was this guy, I hated him a lot, but he was nice, but he caused a lot of ruckus and got banished, then this big evil spirit possessed him and thus my adventure began to stop them" she then laughed for a moment "Now I found him being the doofus in parks and enjoying playing with others"

Her smile vanished for a second "Then there are those who still want power, I have met some, they try to conquer a world that canīt be conquered, and the good thing is that there are characters working together to stop them. Leaving most of us to adapt to this new world" the former princess relaxed letting her head be the only thing above the waterīs surface "I enjoy going around and fighting, but sometimes I think of the future, have a good place, a job, someone to come back to, that stuff." she smiled

"Oh I know how you feel. Back in my world I had to deal with an evil goddess known as Medusa. Just out of nowhere she came and trapped me and most of my guards and knights. Thankfully Pit wasn't captured because he couldn't fly due to his tiny wings. Because he wasn't captured he managed to get three ancient relics that had helped him seal away Medusa for a good long time. Thus in turn saving me. Then Medusa came back with avengence. However she wasn't as bad as Hades. He was just mean, foul, and always had a comeback. In fact Hades had nearly taken my dear Pit away from me... he disappeared inside Hades. I thought I lost Pit for a moment there... but much to my surprise, that little angel was able to fight his way out of Hades. There is a reason why I chose Pit to be the captain of my bodyguard's." Replied Palutena as she stepped up and out of the water, using her powers once again to form a towel around her.

"Anyways I think it's about time I get out of the bath. I don't want my smooth skin to wrinkle now do I?" Palutena said with a chuckle as she began drying herself off. "You can stay in if you wish though. Also it was fun talking with you, and to be honest. I wouldn't mind if you stay here for as long as you wish." Palutena replied with a warm, gentle smile that would make the heart of any man or woman flutter.
