"Well, that is no fun" Bryn commented to herself, she had collected many things that for her were great and they so rare in some cases that she would have to sell a frigate or anything of that caliber for a painting or a book. Luckily, the green eyed woman had her ways to "take" those treasures without the owners´ knowledge, but then there were those who did notice her taking the treasures. ("Those were great chases") she smiled faintly at the memory of her using a hollow asteroid and use the tunnels to both lure and trap the hunters.

"Anyway, you might have knowledge, and if you have some objects of your time, they could be worth millions" the bioroid pointed out.

"If there were, they were wiped out of existence with the rest of the ship." SiMo replied. "The view is more than adequate in some other spectrums and wavelengths, but they're quite precise to get to them. Not worth the effort."

SiMo turned, looking around a little. "I am inclined to believe I have nowhere to go. Anywhere where I would be needed, of course."

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

Alcyon Space | Space Station "Heaven" - Holodome

Bardock hovered in the air as he saw his counter-attack was successful, but upon seeing the dust clear he saw Phenom still standing. However Phenom looked up at the Saiyan and began calling out, asking if they could just end this in a draw due to some... very valid points. Normally Bardock would turn down the offer to end this fight as a draw, but Bardock did get what he wanted. To see Phenom's speed first-hand, in a setting for Bardock to gauge his speed... which was hard... Phenom's speed was just far too blinding for him. Not untrackable... just... so fast that with the naked eye one cannot even see Phenom move at all. Other than that he did also get a small taste of Phenom's fighting style despite the sparring match having been so short.

That was when Bardock nodded as he floated down to the ground, and after making contact with the ground he began speaking. "Okay whatever you say. I got what I needed anyways..."

"If this place is at the edge of technology, we could adapt the machinery to something we can use, the nova engine could be upgraded along the way and also we can gather mote information about the whole mess we habe goyten into"

"Right..." Phenom said, dusting himself off. He inspected his cloak to find a small number of tears in it, groaning about the damage to his cloak, he made his way to the door. "We've been in here for almost an hour. Lachesis is probably waiting for me. Listen. We're leaving this system in 3 hours. If you want to join us, then stay. If not, then tell Fusenmei. I contacted her before we began and she's going to escort you to the barracks when you're ready. There's plenty of space there if you'd prefer to stay with us."

The door into the Holodome opened and a decidedly Japanese woman with long black hair tied into a large ponytail, bowing deeply. She wore a cloak similar to Phenom's, but it was let down at the top. Covering her chest, instead, was a rather-well wrapped sarashi with a ribbon twisting about her body. At her side was a masterfully forged katana that seemed far more technologically advanced than its retro appearance led on.

"Hello. My name is Sadako Fusenmei. I've read about you in Phenom's report, Bardock. I will remain here as long as you use our Holodome."

"Maybe I'll see you tomorrow, Bardock..." Phenom said, as he left the area.

Bryn just shrugged at the sight "Trust me that you will need it sooner or later for buying resources for your ships, this station and the people" she spoke while lifting each finger "One, The hostile ones will try to raid this place since it is a new place to loot even though you are heavily armed, which is an even better treasure. Two, at the moment, you possibly have less human resources than this place needs to be in optimal conditions, so unless you have enduring androids or mechs, cloning facilities or a sort of fast aging procedure, this station will start to have failures . Three, the "pacific" civilizations will wish to meet you to make trades of information and materials, but on the real perspective, they will try to get something from the station via spies or black market. And fourth, Right now you got no alies in the galaxy, it won´t be like getting acceptance just by saying you are from a planet that was destroyed eons ago, many will see you through your actions and who you side with"

The bioroid sighed "You are one square one in this place and you will need every asset to survive the first years" she spoke not in a sarcastic way of how normally her tone was, but there was sorrow and experience in her tone.

"GaHDD has never-" Keegan started before being cut off by a woman's voice on a walkway above.

"Keegan!" called out the fully cloaked woman above. Before Keegan could even react, she had vanished and reappeared between the three, walking up to the technopath. "Your youth misleads you, Keegan. Our guest, here, is not wrong. We are aliens in this place." She stood, unmoving, before Keegan, all distinguishable features hidden behind her shrouded cloak, "Our cause may be grand and noble, but that does not give us the right to act with authority in this place. We were Earth's guardians. We failed Her. With such failure besmirching our legacy, do you truly believe that we deserve to call ourselves the guardians of all existence and act like it?"

"N... no, Ma'am... I'm sorry for my arrogance." Keegan said meekly. It was clear that he held a great deal of respect for whoever was standing before him.

"If we are to accomplish our goal: Discovering what's causing the stars to vanish and putting an end to it, we must work with the people of this galaxy. They know far more than we do. If that means selling Pre-Armageddon artifacts, then so be it. We do not exist to preserve the memory of Mother Earth. If the Lords deem it necessary to part with our knowledge for the sake of achieving our goals, then we will comply."

Keegan looked down to the floor as the woman said these things to him.

                "R-right... I understand."

"Now, if you're done down here, the engineers on Level 7 need your help bringing Fire Control back online. Why not go assist them?"

"Alright... I apologize for my behavior, Miss Runa... If you need me, you know how to contact me." Keegan said as he left the three, heading towards an elevator in a nearby wall. The mysterious woman turned to Runa and Bryn and spoke.

"I hope my son didn't cause too much trouble for you two. Well... He's not really my son. I just take it upon myself to act as his mother. He's young and still a bit ignorant to what's best for Heaven. My name is Amanda Washington. I am a Captain with the Guardian Angels of Heaven. I think I heard you say that you had some experiments to run, so I won't keep you." She said, walking after Keegan.

The bioroid would have liked to get more sense into the boy´s thick head, but the alleged captain stopped her before doing so and left "Talk about retreating procedures" she grumbled and sighed "I can tell this day will get better and better". Runa on the other hand shrugged "You meet people like that all the time, it was rather obvious how he changed his attitude each time one of us spoke" she laughed to herself "Sadly his imaginary hope may get shot down"

That little bit of info made the black haired woman look at the engineer "So little mechanic had an instant crush, poor girl" she joked as they headed to the hangar "Love is such a thing, it can be as simple as breathing, or as complex as building a spaceship, it all depends on how you see it" she said with some wisdom. The redhead nodded and asked for the portal device, which she received with some advice of not playing with it "I have a question about this object, what powers it? making a dimensional gate in a three dimensional plane must be heavily taxing for resources, yet this thing has to charge from time to time depending on how much you use it" she asked

Bryn kept moving as she answered "Well, after several trials and errors, in which some varied from explosions, implosions, opening other dimensions, etcetera.. This one is the only which managed to succeed in all requirements, and inside that thing" she pointed to the white casing "Is a controllable black hole"

"Well... I don't have any other reason to stay on the planet below... So I guess I will just go wherever this place goes." Bardock spoke to himself as he then turned to Fusenmei, having finally acknowledged her.

"Hey I'm done training in here for now. I also decided on what I want to do. I'd like to join the people on this ship in wherever this place goes. So... uh... mind showing me to a place I could sleep?"

                    The Expense | Hallman's Office

As the kncoking on the door could be heard Hallman stretched as he pushed a button on his desk, thus opening the door. As the door opened a man with two plates covered in a metal dome entered the office. Quickly the man place both plates on the desk in the office before removing the metal domes revealing the seafood platter, and steak dinner Hallman ordered. With a quick nod from Hallman, the well-dressed man bowed before leaving, with the door closing behind him.

With the food now here Hallman turned to Lycoris and smiled.
"Well I did say I owe you something, so here's a plate full of some delicious seafood. So eat up." Hallman spoke as he pulled his plate closer to him, leaving Lycoris's plate on the desk. "Damn though, this freaking box... This goddamn blue box just would not be scratched, and why can't it be moved? There's something up with it... You know I'm calling Emil in, maybe he will know what to do." Hallman commented as he pushed a button on his wrist communicator, then after putting in Emil's contact info Hallman spoke in.

"Hey Emil can you get your ass to my office? I need you for a minute." Hallman spoke into his communicator, hoping that Emil would hear the message in his own communicator.

After a few minutes, the door to Hallman's office opened up to reveal a tall and muscular man with a scar over his eye and long hair which just barely covered his ears stepped into the room. Emil looked over to the new blue addition to Hallman's office, then to Hallman, raising an eyebrow at him afterward.

"You called me to move furniture?", Emil dryly asked Hallman before noticing Lycoris in his peripherals and gently nodding at her, acknowledging her presence.

When the girl's lunch arrived, Lycoris had all bt completely forgotten about what she had heard coming from inside the strange blue box. The smell of the fresh cooked fish was all to inviting and for the moment it consumed her other senses. Once able, Lycoris took her plate and silverware and sat cross legged on the floor. She kept her plate in her lap and happily started consuming the fish her master had gifted her. Hearing her master words, the cat girl's ears flickered and twitched. "Th-thank you sir, it's really tasty. "

The cat girl continued delighting in her meal for a while, until her master had called in yet another genetically modified human to assist him. It didnt' take long for him to respond, Emil was at Hallmen's Office even quicker than Lycoris had been able to respond. Lycoris had stoopped eating the moment Emil entered the room, staring up at him with a small bit of fish on her fork that she held close to her chin. She looked at Emil, almost as if she were asking for permission to continue her dining. When the man nodded at her she simply smiled back at him before returning her attention to the fish she had been enjoying.

Fusenmei simply bowed, she then turned on her heel and led Bardock to the elevator from earlier. She said little more than what was necessary. She was not interested in speaking at this point. Having been up all day working to get the Station in optimal working condition, she was rather exhausted.

"It would be unfortunate if you believed in ghosts..." she muttered, staring at elevator shaft through the glass window. The elevator pinged soon after and the door slid open, revealing the Atrium once more. Fusenmei stepped out without so much as another word, heading towards the dark towers that climbed into Heaven's skyline.

Alcyon Space | Space Station "Heaven" - Guardian Angel Commons

The door to the Commons slid open as Phenom approached it. Beyond the door was a rather futuristic looking common room of sorts. The room was a bright white, angular at every opportunity.

                          Spoiler: Room Reference

Inside the Room was Lachesis, lying comfortably on a sofa with a book in her hands and a mug of hot chocolate on a small table nearby. Instead of her typical outfit, she now wore an oversized black sweater and a pair of white lounge shorts. Her hair was now let down, long and flowing instead of held up in a pony-tail. She looked up at Phenom and smiled.

"Hey Phen! Glad you could finally join me!" she said happily. She patted the cushions beside her in an effort to get Phenom to join her.

He had seen her in such an outfit countless times, but no matter how often he saw her so casually dressed, Phenom simply could not stop himself from staring. He removed his cloak and kefiyeh scarf, revealing a surprisingly simple outfit: A thin black T-shirt and black combat pants. As he stepped towards the stairs that led down to the level that Lachesis was on, he threw his cloak and scarf over the back of a chair on the upper level.

"So... Bardock's powerful..." Phenom said as he walked down the stairs.

"He seems like he would be. Those readings that the M-Wave picked up from him? They were so strange... So how did his training or whatever go?" Lachesis asked.

Phenom approached the set of cushions beside Lachesis, her eyes tracking his movements. He laid down, his head near Lachesis, on the empty cushions. He placed both hands behind his head and his feet on the raised arm of the sofa. Staring at the ceiling, he spoke.

"Well... He killed a bunch of green guys... then some fat pink alien. And then we sparred. He can track me, barely, through the gusts of wind I create. He threw me into the ground..."

Lachesis's eyes widened in disbelief, "How the hell did he even get a hold of you?"

                          "Gravity..."

                          "Oh... right... Your greatest weakness."

"YUP... What're you reading?" Phenom asked.

"Oh, it's just some old romance novel. You wouldn't be interested in it."

"Millions of books for you to read in the Archive, and you go with a romance novel." Phenom said, scoffing slightly.

Lachesis closed the book, and brought the spine down on Phenom's forehead with a solid thud. The impact made Phenom recoil a bit and look up at Lachesis.

                          "The hell was that for?"

"Like you'd know anything about being romantic in the first place."

Alcyon Space | Space Station "Heaven" - Bryn's ship

"So far the energy in the deice looks.. Minimal? That can't be right" Runa questioned seeing how much energy the Portal gun used to stay active. She was trying to find a way to duplicate the energy source to make at least another pair of gates, but it was such a strange thing to see so little energy usage.

Bryn was also checking the data and looked at the graphs "The device is in a dormant state, but if you activate each gate, look at the readings" she spoke firing both gates around. The redhead looked at the graph and following the line, she noticed two thin perfectly vertical lines in the line graph "That shouldn't be possible" she understood what was happening while walking to one of the gates "This is a wormhole and has both ends at your disposal" she then looked at the bioroid "You are making a rip in space"

"Exactly, this thing has massive energy usage that works at a time so small, that I'm guessing to be atoseconds" at the look of bewilderment from the engineer, she pointed out "This was both hundreds of hours of tests and a second of mere luck, so if this object uses the same energy.. It would do this, just get behind me" she warned.

As both females were in safety and strapped to the wall, Bryn made some tweaking on the portal gun "This is what happens if I let the device active for 5 seconds" she said firing, but instead of a blue sphere like normal, it sent a cylinder that formed the gate, and in those 5 seconds, it sucked some crates and a chair.

After closing the gate, Runa looked at the place, it was like an industrial vacuum passed around "So if it stays active for longer time.. It will become a real black hole" she received a nod from the bioroid who pointed at the computer screen. The engineer only saw the line of next to nothing of energy used to a wall that went higher than the graph's limit, for exactly 5 seconds.

"And now, anyone within a kilometer radius will see that data and have a shock, because a black hole appeared out of nowhere and disappeared" the bioroid spoke knowing the possible reactions of the station technissians

As the Runa and Bryn conducted their experiments in Runa's ship, the engineers manning the surveillance post watched the events inside through a high-frequency M-Wave viewport. They chuckled at the surprise the two expressed as Runa and Bryn created a micro-black hole.

"So, people are just now figuring out how to create super-massive constructs in this era? What a waste of time."

"No, no, Ben, It's fine. We're only Ninety-thousand YEARS IN THE FUTURE!" said one of the engineers as he burst out laughing.

"God, we were making micro black holes when Earth was still fighting wars with gunpowder!"

"Aaaaah, give 'em a break. These people didn't have access to our R&D Department. There's no way they could figure out how to develop micro-black holes until recently."

Alcyon Space | Space Station "Heaven" - Atrium

"Attention, All hands. Attention, All hands. Heaven will be jumping out of system in approximately two hours. Repeat, Heaven will be jumping out of system in approximately two hours." A voice over the Intercom announced their soon-to-be departure as Fusenmei led Bardock through Heaven's Atrium. She said nothing more until a loud voice jarred her from her focus.

"Здравствуйте (Hello)! Товарищ (Comrade) Fusenmei!" Called an elderly looking man as he approached, carrying a rather large box on his back. "How're you doing, молодая леди (Young Lady)?" He spoke in a rather thick Russian accent, and wove old Russian words into his otherwise English speech. The box that he had slung over his back seemed like it would be far too cumbersome for any normal human being to carry. But then again... there seemed to be an abundance of strange humans on Heaven.

"Lieutenant Colonel Strelok." Fusenmei said solemnly, "How was your mission to the surface?"

"Все та же старая, та же старая (Same old, same old). It was uneventful. Who's this Человек (Fellow)?"

"His name is Bardock. I'm showing him to the Barracks." Fusenmei responded.

"Hmm... Let me look at him... Святое дерьмо (Holy shit)! This man's vitality is up to twenty-thousand! Боже мой (Oh my god)! Few souls on this station even has a vitality of higher than one hundred, and even fewer have one around one-thousand. Jeez, even Phenom's barely reaches ten-thousand."

Lachesis went right back to reading after having whacked Phenom squarely on the forehead.

"Hey, Lacey?" Phenom started, staring up at Lachesis.

                                "Yeah?"

                                "Are you okay?"

                                "...Yeah." Lachesis said quietly.

"It seems like your attitude recently has all been an act."

                                "No, Phen, I'm fine."

"You don't seem fine. I've known you sine we were 3 years old, Lacey. You can't sneak much by me anymore.."

"I'm.... I don't know, Phen... I feel like I could have done something to stop Diavolo." Lachesis said, quietly.

"Lacey... you did everything you could. Nobody on this station came closer than you did. Diavolo just... didn't give us enough time to stop him."

"But I was the only one who could stop him! I had an objective that even your speed couldn't accomplish, Phenom! I was the only one who could save all of those people!" Lachesis became visibly upset. It was clear that she had been holding this in for a very long time. "Every single moment for those thousands of years we were frozen, Phenom... I heard their screams, their cries. I could have saved them, Phen... And I didn't."

                                "Lachesis..."
