Just as Revere began to charge at John, John looked at the ship's energy gauge in his HUD and saw that the ship had little power left.

    < 20% >

Thinking of a way to stop Revere, John decided to do something absolutely crazy.

"Cortana, tap into my suit and feed it into the ship. I'm going to give him a taste of his own medicine.", John said to Cortana.

"I know what you're thinking, and it's crazy. You heard what Aion said about Nevere ship.", Cortana calmly said to John.

"So? Go to Aion's ship.", John jokingly said to Cortana.

"Unfortunately for us both, I like crazy.", Cortana joked back.

And with that, John's fighter continued to fire all of its weapons as it charged directly at Nevere's ship. As he charged, John overcharged his suit, causing the ship's shields and guns to increase in strength. It seemed as if John was going to suicidally crash into Nevere. Little did anyone know about John's Armorlock ability...

      Nhiome's base on inopia's moon

Nhiome has finalised the calculations and had completed a major overhaul of KuroiKaze. It's pulse cannon had been replace, but this one was another version, a type designed to shoot rapidly. The cargo area was smaller now due to an additional engine in there to counteract the additional shielding. The shielding was now up to a potency of 1, much better than his other fighters. The additional engine also made KuroiKaze nearly as fast as FuyuKaze and ShiroiKaze, but most of the additional power was used to maintain the shield.

Nhiome decided to test out his new modification, he entered KuroiKaze and after testing the systems, exited the base and entered space again.

"I was one of few, there isn't that many nymphs that I know of. My home planet is Alcyon in Celestora system. Known more for it's beautiful landscape and the Vatian kingdom there that is still has a medieval flare about it. Real Knights in shining armor. There are Light and Dark Mages there...and one of the Dark Mages, she tried to take over all of Alcyon and attempted to rule it as an empress. Prince Roy led the kingdom against her but because of her...well...ability, she was able to keep them from overthrowing her. She plunged the planet into darkness in an attempt to summon a demon queen... The only reason she was able to do anything of the sort was she destroyed one of the vessels of light that keeps the planet pure. The vessel was under my care and she managed to destroy it. But then a dark mage showed up and helped me, his name was Micero. He helped me find the shattered fragments of the vessel and we faced the empress. Micero fought her while I tried to seal her magic...
...To his last breath he protected me...
Then... when I finally was able to seal her magic, she launched one final curse. When her magic was sealed, she attempted to kill me as she had cursed me to be no longer a water nymph. I'm technically human now, but that won't change.
I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Micero and the mercenary that saved me from the empress's attack
That mercenary...I...I don't remember his name. He had a grey emblem of something on the back of his jacket, I think."

"No...seriously...one of those humanity destroying orbs is missing. Look!" Nero pointed at the spot where the orb was. "Did you move it after I got blasted?"

"Chief! You fool! Move!" Aion charged towards John in an attempt to push him out of the way, but Revere made his move.
"Your weakness, Astraeus...You should learn to break that habit."
"Astrae-?" Before Aion could finish the question, Revere rolled and used his fighter to cut through Aion's wing. "Argh!"

"Dammit, Aion! Don't do that again!", John angrily said to Aion as the ship's shields held.

John was hoping that Aion wouldn't get in his way, but Aion proved to be a liability.

While Revere was occupied with damaging Aion's wing, John fired all of his weapons at Revere's ship.

The orb then accidently bumped into Mima's head, making her turn to see the orb, then turning back.

"See, it's right there. Why it's floating behind me, I have no idea, and we'll get to it later, but the point still stands of why you keep wanting to change the subject." Mima then readied her staff. "Shall I have to smack it out of you, or will you just show me peacefully, seriously, it's not a world endangering danger here." Mima continued, rubbing the sharp tips of the staff.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

Mara heard KiaraŽs story and was silent for a moment.

"I was born in a frigate ship, thats what my records say, no planet of origin, a spacer you could say. Two doctors, a couple, adopted me while I was still a toddler. We traveled around the many planets and ships. I never knew what they were working with, but the rare times we were together, both of them were tired, physically and emotionally. So growing up was done by myself, they only funded my education and living services." the white haired said and sighed

"One day, they just gave up, they gave me the leave when I was working on prosthetycs and never saw them again. It didnŽt feel really strong since we were already distanced. Then the fated day occurred. The ship where I was traveling on a business trip exploded. The cooling system failed for some reason and the engines over heated. Next thing I knew I was lyong on the floor with the remnants of machines and flesh." the bioroid kept going

Looking at her hand, Mara finished "I remembrer faint glimpses of the doctors working on me like the one you heard recently. I just woke up, feeling nothing at all. I thought if I was on a dream when I noticed my hand, it was pale looking and felt different from my real one. I panicked and looked at the mirror, then I thought I was in a nightmare. It took me some months of physical and emotional training to fully understand this new body and its limiters."

Now im just wandering on space, trying to find a purpose"

Revere dodged the attack and started to head back n the direction he came. "As far as you know, Aion. The truth, however, is far different."
                "..."
"Hmph. Nothing to say? Shame. I'll let you lick your wounds for now and mourn your dead. But remember this: Next time we meet...may be your last."

"You could help me with fixing Fighters!" Terrisa was jumping up and down with a wrench in hand.

                  Inopia's atmosphere

Nhiome gritted his teeth and concentrated all his will power into strengthening the shield of KuroiKaze with the crystal in his arm. He had already directed his single remaining engine into powering the shield as well, having given up hope of possibly steering out of this mess using the thrusters.

The ship had performed superbly in space, but after considering how out of his element he had been in the atmosphere against other fighters, he had decided to test out his ship in the atmosphere too. It was the worst mistake he could have possibly made. As he was testing out the speed in the atmosphere, the engine that was mainly powering the thrusters died. Nhiome was not sure why, he suspected a fault in the wiring when he was rehauling the ship. But he did not have the time to check, the ship had immediately dived, pulled down by its forward center of gravity which had until then been counteracted by the thrusters. He had at first tried to steer out, but the entering of the atmosphere was causing too much stress to the nose of the ship and he had been unable to direct enough power to the thrusters, at least without being torn apart. So now he did the opposite, he directed all power towards the engines.

He had cut all systems except life-support and the guns. This included the thrusters, but they were useless anyway, all he had managed to do with them was to aim KuroiKaze at a bit of bare stone sticking out of the ground. If he had tried to set down on the surface, he would be incinerated sooner or later, his only hope was to blast through to underground. Another thing he had cut was the G-dampeners, which had been vital in his ships considering how fast they traveled, he had to endure the G-force using methods he had nearly forgotten and it was sapping a lot of his strength. Now the guns came into play and fired shot after shot at the same spot. The projectile gun was firing high explosives. 1000m from collision, he disabled the guns and put all energy into the shields, including the energy from the crystal in his arm, he just had to hope it was enough. Blade fighters used 2 crystals didn't they? This should work. Hopefully.

KuroiKaze crashed through the weakened ceiling and entered a vast room full of rubble. Nhiome could not take in anything else before KuroiKaze slammed into the floor nose-first and skidded, thankfully, out of the sunlight that shined in through the hole. Nhiome then, strained from the G-force, the blood lost from a wound on his leg due to the impact and the mental strength he had used to power the crystal, slid unconscious on the floor of his ship.

A ship flew through the Helios System at high velocity, and looked like it was being tailed by three other ships, all firing upon it.

Inside the ship, a woman in high-tech armor was scrambling to do something. "All of this over a damn little screw up on a repair job, the hell is with these people?" she grumbled to herself as she fired back, clipping one of the other ship's wings.

The Reaper cleared through the base, and entered a huge circular room, an observation deck visible above.

"Ah, impressive that you made it here, though that will cost a lot to fix. Nevertheless, your head will serve as nice repair bill." the voice of Selarious said. The middle of the room than began to open, revealing a huge desert colored mech, with long, thin spindly arms, with a large upper "head" of sorts, a large gatling gun on the front, a missle launcher on it's right shoulder, and an autocannon on it's left.

"Now, would you kindly die for me?" Selarious said, as the mech rose to life. The Reaper pulled out his scythe and kunai. This was going to be a difficult one.

"Cortana, return everything to it's standard parameters.", John calmly said.

John then activated his com system and spoke to Aion.

"You know, I had him until you interfered. I was charging him, but I had a trick up my sleeve. I was going to Armorlock the entire ship and slam into him. It would have either created an opening for you, or destroyed his ship.", John calmly explained to Aion.

"Next time I do something that seems crazy and suicidal, don't stop me.", John finished, leaning back in his chair.
