Orientation | Trinity Soul University
"..." Lynne silently observed everything that went on. To be perfectly honest she didn't want to get into a full-fledged battle against another student; much less someone who would later be a friend of hers. But her adversary was genuinely looking to shed blood, and for the greater good she needed to be put down.
Gaunix raised his giant battle staff and slammed it down with such force that it caused the ground to quake. Verrena however leapt to the side with ease and countered the attempt by performing multiple slashes across Gaunix's huge forearm before tumbling backwards to dodge another swing. Her eyes glimmered with delight as she jumped forward, aiming for the crevice across the obsidian warrior's face, but was repelled back by Gaunix, who pushed her away with his spiky shoulders. Verrena was sent flying until she recovered and stopped her in mid-flight before launching herself back into the fray.

"Alright, that's done."
Elkana wiped off the sweat that formed on her forehead. While she was invulnerable by time, she was still susceptible to temporal wounds and exhaustion. As she let go of the telekinetic force that bound her to a little sheet of metal to place it, she looked up to find that everything was in order.
Standing before her was a giant tower that reminisced of a grandfather clock. It hummed and pulsated in gold hue, noting to Elkana that it was functional and working in order.
"It's been awhile since I put this gadget again." Elkana commented as she approached the tower, or particularly the control center at one side of it. She took a breath, and pulled the lever.
