        Raiden...yaaaaaaa
Totally didn't base Revere's combat style off of him and Sam...nope...

but ya, Katana combat is sexy in the games I've played and seen.

PSO2 has katanas...omfg is it sexy....
        (*q*)

I should upload a vid of me using em...just gotta get PSO2 updated...

EDIT: Oh and the song fits Revere very well because of the lyrics:

        Memories broken
        The truth goes unspoken
        I've even forgotten my name
        I don't know the season
        Or what is the reason
I'm standing here holding my blade
        A desolate place
        Without any trace
It's only the cold wind I feel
        It's me that I spite
As I stand up and fight
The only thing I know for real
        There will be blood-shed
The man in the mirror nods his head
        The only one left
Will ride upon the dragon's back
Because the mountains don't give back what they take
        Oh no
        There will be blood-shed
It's the only thing I've ever known
        Losing my identity
        Wondering have I gone insane
To find the truth in front of me
I must climb this mountain range
Looking downward from this deadly height
And never realizing why I fight
EDIT 2: Shoot looking a bit harder...a lot of my characters mirror the lyrics of the songs in MGR a lot...
dammit subconscious...Y U DO THIS TO ME???

          Then things should be interesting.

You see, John's abilities and fighting style would be fairly similar to Sen. Armstrong's, only John is much faster, more skilled at CQC, and slightly more durable than Raiden, not as durable as Armstrong.

Of course, John can't punch through a Metal Gear, but that part was over the top anyways.

What I don't get is that they showed Raiden being able to LIFT A F*CKING GIANT METAL GEAR, yet he could barely pick himself up out of a pit.

Such inconsistent strength. Same goes for Armstrong. He's able to punch through a Metal Gear, yet he can only knock Raiden back a couple of feet.

            Oh ya that's always hilarious.
I bet somewhere there was some explanation...but I doubt it
            But ya...now I'm thinking...
If Revere (Aion) was brought in instead of Eleos...I wonder what would happen, especially considering he wouldn't have his Soul Cutter (Final name pending) and his perfect future sight and would have to rely on pure adapting tactics.
            hrm...

              @Cucoo

I thought Revere only knew the future because of his Advisor.

Well, he would have to get creative in fighting game Characters. That much, I do know. Most game Characters are naturally faster than the average human, along with many other advantages, so getting up close and personal would be very risky.

How would you adapt his Bio to fit the story?

                @ S121

On how he knew the future, It's actually because, taking the snapshot of just the 1 year of the war the story is looking at, he's lived it 1,000 times over. The reason he has the advisor is so he can make sure everything is going as intended. Because when you're changing the future, it helps to know how the changes affect things.

On his bio...I wouldn't change much tbh. Well...the non spoiler version that says who he is if you knew nothing about him, anyway. (i.e. dark and mysterious)
His combat prowess would be if Raiden/Sam didn't have augmentations. In CQC terms in my story, he is like the "Dark Link" of the story, because one, he is Aion from the future, and two, his skills have been refined for over a thousand years. Of course to adapt this, I would just say he's been training in the art of the sword for his entire life.

He can read people like a open book in combat, thus he can parry most attacks. Spartans would be easily able to overpower him, but in speed, he would give them a run for their money. Of course, he adapts his fighting technique according to what he's up against. if he was against like John, then he would keep himself at mid range so he can duck in, make a jab, then move out. Then if he was against like say, a Touhou character using Danmaku, his strategy would be to get in close and use one decisive strike. Against someone like Link, he would use defensive counters in order to play out for an opening. He will more often than not bide his time waiting for an opening rather than press the attack.

He would also need a backup weapon. Half of the Characters can fly, including John.

Six on the other hand, can't. Not until he gets new MJOLNIR armor. He's actually using an outdated Mark IV suit, due to the time period the game Halo: Reach takes place.

Not only that, it also doesn't have the Biofoam injectors John's suit has.

That decisive striking would be more effective against Six, but he would also have to be careful about that. Six is supposed to be better than John at CQC, but he's also not as fast, or as strong.

                    @ S121

I actually forgot his one style of combat he tends to favor. I got the idea from Phantasy Star: He uses a sword in conjunction with a hand gun. Of course in my story it's redundant considering the blade he uses is also a Gunblade. The fact he uses a gun as is, is a stark contrast to Part I's Aion. The reason will become prominent eventually.

Also I'm rigging up a minor bio if I were to consider it further...

                    Character:
                    Revere Exorco

                    - OC -

                    Power:
                    Sword Master

                    Weapons:
                    Katana
                    Dual Sabres
                    Hand Gun

                    Weaknesses:
In overall strength, he is weak.
He chooses to use skill as his metaphorical armor, therefore he could be easily killed. However, he doesn't go down easily and will withdraw from a fight when wounded.

                    Appearance:

Except hair is spikier and does not cover an eye
And jacket is closed w/ a sleeveless undershirt (the kind where it only goes over one shoulder that you normally see something of the oriental genre wearing)
Jacket has a red phoenix on the back

                    Personality:
Mysterious in ultimate motives, he tends to seem brutal in his tactics and uncaring overall, but there are times when no one can get a real good read on what he really is like.

                    Morality:
From my story's part I, you would think he's the ultimate incarnate of evil. in Part II, his true motives are revealed and you start to question whether he is good or evil.

                    Biography:
A Sword Master that has trained his whole life. He seems to be against game characters...but otherwise his motives remain unclear.

                    Traumas:
In my story: He relived the same war 1,000 times over, seeing the same people die over and over, most of which he cared for and he once called friends. (time travel + immortality + having to play the bad guy to set things right is a b*tch.) In this...I would have to work out something similar...

                    Notes:

                    Combat Prowess:
His combat prowess would be if Raiden/Sam didn't have augmentations. In CQC terms in my story, he is like the "Dark Link" of the story, because one, he is Aion from the future, and two, his skills have been refined for over a thousand years. Against someone like Link, he would use defensive counters in order to play out for an opening. He will more often than not bide his time waiting for an opening rather than press the attack.

In addition: he prefers to dual wield his blade with his hand gun...

                    EDIT:
So now I gotta decide: sword master, or sniper assassin? hrmmm....what would you like to see?

EDIT 2: And part of me thinks I could just use a game character from Phantasy Star...I actually think that was my initial plan at the beginning...hmm...reason why I say this is cause the guy in the picture is from Phantasy Star...

Aye...he does seem more apt to deal with OP game characters even without some of the things he has in my story. Though Eleos could still be capable...
Now I'm debating on whether I should use Eleos or Revere...
Which one would you think would fare better?

Oh and I got this character I'm thinking about that is from PSO2 who I was considering at the beginning when I thought about joining...at this rate I'll be in control of more female characters than males.

Anyways, I would be more interested in Eleos, simply because nobody has yet to follow an assassin kind of story. I was planning on Six having this kind of storyline, but he kind of evolved into a soldier for Prometheus Labs.

Who in PSO2 were you planning on bringing it?

                            This one

And if you thought Spartans were tough, let's see how they like the CASTs of Phantasy Star :P

NPC Character of Choice: Risa (Though I will be referring to her in the ideal English translation Lisa)

Game of Origin: Phantasy Star Online 2

                            Power:
                            Psycho Ranger chic...(wait...that's a power?)

Weapons: Assault Rifles, gunslashes, and Rocket Launchers...big ones... need I say more?

Weaknesses: In canon...CASTs are resilient. Literally, they can survive without a body. Their entire being is in their head.

                            Appearance:
                            Fan Art:

                            Official Concept Art:

                            In Game:

                            And this GIF

...It's sped up and obviously on a loop. she doesn't talk that fast.

Personality: Psycho crazy hot robot gunner chic. NEED I SAY MORE?!

Morality: Shes...good...even though she keeps talking about torturing things with guns...

Biography: She is an ARK member (sort of like civilian militia/ mercenaries) She teaches Ranger and Gunner ARKs the way of the gun...and also helps on client orders. I can't really speak for her history cause I just now got the story translation patch to work and I can't really say anything more about her.

Traumas: I have no idea, but she is crazy
                            ...crazy hot... *COUGH*

Notes: because PSO2 is an MMORPG technically, it's tricky to figure out her past...especially when everything about the game is still in Japanese officially as it hasn't been localized yet.

                            EDIT:

Oh and when I was searching through the pics, I find this:

you all have no idea how complete my life is now. LISA IN A MAID OUTFIT?!? YES!~<3

                            EDIT 2
Oh and on the OC thing, Ok I'll use Eleos then. It'll be interesting to see a sniper...hmm...

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

                                Power of Flight

Palutena's primary abilities shown in the games are utilitarian, such as granting Pit, a flightless angel, the Power of Flight. This power only lasts five minutes, limited by Pit's wing's tolerance of the Power of Flight.

                                Some Other Powers

In Uprising, Palutena grants Pit grind rails, food, and vehicles to aid him in his quest. She is also responsible for arrows that guide Pit through levels (a power made possible through her "Palutena Super Sensor," as she calls it), and can expose weak spots on enemies such as Aurum ships (which she calls her "Power of Weak-Point Exposure").

                                Powers in Anime Shorts

In the anime shorts, Palutena is revealed to be a potions master, as she is able to (unintentionally) make vegetables into animate beings through an overdose of her potion. Later she uses her "Power of Caging" to try to stop the mutant carrots. After she learns that the potion can be washed off she uses her "Power of Maelstrom" to make it rain.

                                Power to Transform Objects/People

In Chapter 20, it is revealed by Viridi that Palutena turned Pit into a ring. This may be her own power or the Chaos Kin's.

                                Battle

While she is mostly supporting, Palutena is shown to be quite adept offensively as well. Palutena is the boss of Chapter 20 in Uprising, being controlled by the Chaos Kin, which must be destroyed while not harming the already weak Palutena, and defeating her instead of the Chaos Kin will result in an "I'm Finished". While she has been noticeably weakened by resisting the Chaos Kin for three years, Palutena shows that she is very adept in battle, wielding her staff and shield.

                                "Palutena Glam Blaster"

A fierce attack Palutena uses to finish the Three-Headed Hewdraw if Pit doesn't finish the last head quickly enough, killing it in one shot. {C

She is also very intelligent and knowledgable, helping Pit with various enemies, hinting at the best direction to take and how to get past certain obstacles. She is so successful at aiding Pit with information, in fact, that Hades calls her "Professor Palutena" and "Know-It-All Palutena" in the game's commentary multiple times.

She is notable for being the only deity to be aware and admit that the gods' fighting is what causes so much suffering.
