Just poke it with a stick, just like Steve Irwin did to that sting ray.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

From experience (by that I mean reading stuff like Horror Movie Survival guides and TVTropes) is you should NEVER poke the big scary thing with a stick. As it would just make the big scary thing angry and kill you. That's why I recommend John going in to pock a sleeping Grima with a stick. With John's luck he would survive.

John couldn't die even if he tried. XD

That sentence you said just now put a lot of funny pictures and scenes in my mind...

            @ Kristia

I think that was one of the concepts eluded to, aye.
But Grima is as much a tactician as Robin. It would be a challenge...especially considering he's backed by an infinite army of Risen. And it is infinite as defined by Endgame. Hypothetically, if you were to last for an infinite number of turns, an infinite number of spawns of reinforcements would appear. Except in Endgame, it was the Grimleal...which are the people who worship Grima as a god and are sorta brainwashed by him. And thinking deeper you gotta ask...how is it he can pull an infinite number of regular people to his aid?

Also I think I should have "Marth" come in as a backup means to get rid of Grima if nothing else...

            @ S121

What makes him weak? I missed the point

EDIT: Oh how I worded that first line.

Ok this was how endgame worked: You had to attack Grima's Avatar which was referenced as the weak-point on the nape of his neck. Moving Avatar that could be anywhere = Nape of his neck... Logic error number 2
Once you defeated his Avatar (Like Ganon in OoT) then you can deal the final blow by the two specified means. Otherwise he just keeps going.

The backfire idea is quite easy if you ask me

When Grima doeas a heavy explosive attack, someone must be at point blank range so the explosion gets both of them.

A near death idea, but almost impossible to evade if you are the shooter
Have you ever crossed the line between sanity and madness? You would be amazed by what lies beyond the fog..

Problem with that...and Logic Error of the game #3

Watch the endgame battle with Grima

The game shows that his attacks pass right through his Avatar. I have to look into the one script where they were going through how to kill him permanently to see what there was. Might be Logic Error #5

                  @Cucoo

Would the god weapon idea work?

If that's the case, then Flandre can kill him.

My other idea is to simply banish him with John's Kingdom Heart idea.

Once he's sent to the Realm of Darkness or Yukari's dimension, then they can eventually find a way to kill him.

As for the logic errors, do you think we should resolve them?

                    @ S121

According to the game it has to be Falchion blessed by Naga, which merely would put him to sleep. But again, in "Future Past" story, it is ...implied that he is killed by Falchion...
but I could have missed the line that says he merely was put to slumber again for another few hundred thousand years.

And the reason why I said Link's Master Sword Might work similarly is because it's the Blade of Evil's Bane.

And the Logic Errors...It's like loophole central. It makes for one helluva rollercoaster ride if you try to dive in deep.
In short, the only reason why they're coming up is cause we're diving into the very core of the game trying to figure out the "What if?" scenarios
Looking at the surface, it works as intended, go immediately under the surface of FE:A, it's a messy tangle of contradictions everywhere.

Phoenix Wright would have a hay-day with it.

                      So Flandre's ability to destroy anything and everything wouldn't work? I just thought that it would work since it says that she can destroy anything. -_-;

Then why not permanently banish him to the Realm of Darkness? That will finally get Grima off Robin's back.

Aye...but I had a real tragedy in mind...

Remember how I mentioned that Robin has a daughter named Morgan?
...think about it...she is technically of the same bloodline as Robin and therefore Grima...
                        I had found Logic Error # 666
If Robin did fall to Grima's control and became a part of him, Morgan could be the one to kill Grima.
She would be killing her own father...

Even though in "Future Past" she also fell to his control when Robin did...

                            @ Kristia

Call it my means to prevent OP vampire from easily killing Grima. My means of balancing it and making Grima into a challenge that can't simply be done in one insta kill move "Grima Appeared! Flandre Used Kyuu! It's Super Effective! Grima has Fainted! Flandre Wins!"
Of course having only two weaknesses (possibly three or more depending on the weapons...) makes it into a question of how to organize everything to beat him.
Gotta write a bit to solve this puzzle :P I ain't gonna let it be simple. Gonna make brains implode here...

And remember, I like my tragedies...I'm one of those people that love Shakespearean plays because of how they are.
Fire emblem is one of those game series that can have a tragic end mixed with the happy end depending on what units are alive at the end.
