John, the Spartan Commando, is the 1st champion in League of AtWaG.
John is the tanky bruiser that is suitable for top lane, but can also be run as jungler. John can jump into enemy backline and blast apart the squishy ADC and mid laner with enough defensive ability to allow him to escape. However, he does not have an apt escape ability, so he will have a hard time in laning.
Passive: Battle-Hardened Spartan
Gains 10/20/30% tenacity (reduced disable time) when below 30/40/50% HP.
As his health grows lower, John gains better battle commandeer. With this, even with low health, John can sink into the heap of enemy, sustaining through the enemy's disable and reaching the backline. Downside of the passive is that it is only applicable in teamfights, but the actual value of tenacity is so great that it's the butter-on-bread for John's late game.
Q: UNSC Assault Rifle / M7 Submachine Gun
UNSC - John fires three bullets that travels in a straight line and strikes enemy. The bullets deal 66% less damage to the enemy when consecutively struck.
M7 - This skill can be used in 3 seconds after the UNSC struck a champion. John fires a barrage of bullets that attacks and slows all champions struck by UNSC by 20/24/28/32/36%.
W: Plasma Grenade
John throws a grenade at the target location. Enemies struck by the grenade are blinded for 2 seconds and take magic damage. They are also revealed for 6 seconds.
E: Energy Charge
John activates his Energy swords and charge at the target Champion, dealing Physical damage and becoming untargetable for 0.5 seconds after. Killing a Champion refreshes the cooldown of this skill.
R: Spartan Time
John's reaction time becomes superhuman, dealing magic damage and slowing all enemies within a small radius around him for 50% for 1.5 seconds. John also gains 40/60/80% Movement Speed and 8/14/20 Armor penetration for 5 seconds.
