"Actually, yes, it is what we deal with. It seems the AI programming for this thing went a little wonky. Not supposed to act like that, nor can you kill an actual MAG that easily. Come on back." Deimos said over the intercoms.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

The Bridge People no Longer Cross

John got his mind and body ready to grab Xehanort, just in case he tried to escape. If he did try to escape, John would quickly snap his arms toward Xehanort and grab him. It would only take John a fraction of an instant. John could see that Xehanort was not a benevolent person, or at least not entirely, so he was ready for the worst.

...what?

I spent all of that stamina... for a broken toy?

"...Huh. I suppose so. I mean, giants aren't supposed to be that fragile either. Well either way, this training was meant to see my performance under extreme conditions, and I didn't pass out this time. How'd I do?"

I walked back over. It got very cold. Damn, that's a hot room.

"Quite nicely. Not as good as me and Sanford's times, or Hank's time, for that matter, but still quite decently, considering you fainted the last time you went through high temps." Deimos said.

"For me and Sanford, I would say about average, if not a little more. We work together to take down our enemies, we've been partners since before the Improbability Drives were activated. Hank, though, he way beyond average. Me and Sanford combined probably couldn't beat him. He's killed people in ways you would only see in movies. He even once ripped a guy's heart out." Deimos said.

The Bridge People no Longer Cross

John didn't trust this man, so while Renamon was distracting Xehanort, John began looking him up on his helmet.

After a couple seconds, John found Xehanort's profile.

(I knew it! This guy IS bad! After this, I have to tell the others.)

John forced himself into "Spartan Time", and waited for the subtlest signs of Xehanort escaping.

(I need to send Renamon a signal, a message that will tell her that Xehanort is bad. Wait! I've got an idea! Renamon comes from the digital world, so she will know this!)

He then began sending a signal in Binary Code to Renamon's Digivice.

(Xehanort is an evil Character. Do I engage? Blink once for no and blink twice for yes.)

John's helmet then began transmitting the code to Renamon's Digivice, hoping that she would understand.

"A wise man once said "These things, they take time." Deimos joked.

"In truth, yeah, you do. It comes in time." Deimos said.

God. Well, at least I'm better that the average street thug.

"Alright. What is the next test and when do I begin?"
