The Mantis shot off into the maze and began running through.

Thanks to the onboard radar, the maze was not a problem.

The man inside was obviously experienced with his machine. It was evident, due to the maneuvers he would perform in it.

Each turn was a very sharp one, due to various modifications he had done to the original design.

The legs were not only powered by hydraulics, but also by an expensive synthetic nano-muscle.

If he ever made a mistake, there was also an AI that would assist him in his maneuvers, to ease the burden of poor reaction time and human error.

The Mantis had already made its way through half of the maze.

"Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle! The thing is amazing!"

"Interesting..." I said.

Seeing as how well he was doing, the man decided to show off a little.

Once the Mantis got to the exit, the man pushed 50 feet off of the ground and made the Mantis flip forward.

<WARNING> <WARNING> <WARNING>

The AI inside the Mantis corrected itself and landed on its feet, causing a loud boom and making the ground shake.

The Mantis had easily finished the maze.

The man smirked as he sat in the machine. Was he kind of arrogant? Perhaps, but he had been piloting the Mantis for three years, testing it vigorously. He was arrogant, but not blind.

He knew the Mantis's limits and stayed within them.

Yukari's Resort

The little mouse Youkai silently scurried around. Rumia saw that she was actually making a... meal?
"Have you not ate your lunch yet?" Rumia asked the Youkai. The mouse Youkai merely nodded and continued, gathering a bowl or rice and a kettle full of tea to make Ochazuke.

Yukari's Resort

John looked over at Nazrin, then back to Yukari.

"Anyway, do you want some coffee too? I know that no matter what I say, you'll still go without sleep, so the best I can do is at least make your job easier. It'll help.", John said to Yukari.

Yukari´s resort

Renamon noticed the hungry mouse girl and went to the kitchen

Nera on the other side went towards Nazrin and greeted her "Hello there, may I join you? my partner over there is preparing something for you"

As soon as she finished her speech, Renamon came with a plate of soup and cooked pasta with tomato sauce on top of it "There you go, some warm meal, I hope you like it" she said putting the plate on the table for Nazrin

Have you ever crossed the line between sanity and madness? You would be amazed by what lies beyond the fog..

Hawaii Airport.

Dante had taken the coins that Komakoma spat out and used them to purchase two tickets for China. "China is a country. It's where my Devil Hunting shop is located due to the heavy amounts of demons and such." Said Dante as he goes to sit down on a bench. "Our flight is in an hour so what do ya wanna do til then?" He asked as he leans his head back.

Do you really think I'm that stupid? *Walks into a door* Okay maybe I am that stupid...

Mima and the yukkkuri approached a small shack located near Yukari's Resort. The door was locked, but Mima produced a key, unlocking it and heading inside. The inside was much large than the shack would hold, a seemingly large alchemical laboratory, with many chemicals, gems, encantations and many other things that would make even a ancient youkai like Yukari or even a god like Suwako or Kanako have their heads spin. Mima put the yukkuri on a table, and produced a odd stone that seemingly kept chaning colors.

"So, what are we doin' here?" the yukkuri asked.

"A experiment. If it doesn't work, nothing will happen. If it works, however, well...let's say I think you'll like it." Mima smiled, putting the stone in between the two points of the crescent, it bobbing up and down gently between them.

"Will it hurt?" the yuukkuri asked.

"Not at all." Mima assured. She tapped the yukkuri on the head with the stone and it started to glow, and seemingly float above the table and make a flash of light blinding Mima and make her turn away for a moment. When she turned back, she smiled. The yukkuri seemingly now had a little body, just like Mima's, with outfit, ghostly tail, and even a little crescent staff. the yukkuri looked down at it's new body and smiled as well.

"Wooow." the yukkuri said in amazement. "I have a body like yours!" the yukkuri almost fell, Mima catching her beforehand.

"You do now." Mima chuckled, and the yukkuri did the same.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

John walked over and grabbed a cup.

Once he finished preparing the coffee, John brought it over to her.

"Here you go.", John said as he handed her the cup.

"Why were you mad that we found out about this 'Eater of Worlds'?", John asked.
