when he put it into that context, I agreed with the theory, but there's a small subtle catch they put at the end that could disprove it...but it isn't substantial enough to really do so.
I can't really remember what it is right now off the top of my head...

Anyways, if you think about it, it's a pretty cool epic. A hero of time saved the world, but he dies and goes through the stages of grief, finally accepting his death. The next link comes in and takes his place, and in TP (and in toilet paper (immature jokes (not funny, bro))) he comes back as a spirit of a stalfos to train link in his mastering ways. In a way, that's almost like the metal gear series.

could we put Lyrica through a timeskip, or is there something that could be done in the restaurant to unearth something? It's my main weakness in writing, certain scenes I just can't drag on...

Or was it something else my memory is forgetting?

ya and that actually brings out an actual reference to Link being Hylian and trying to navigate the lost woods. In game canon, anyone not a kokiri should get lost and turn into a Stalfos. Though it's also one inconsistency... according to the game, non-Kokiri should get lost in...the lost woods. But Kokiri will simply wind up at the entrance...
...Link is not a Kokiri yet he winds up at the entrance as though he is...
