I feel like I should post the different Units within the Maverick Hunters.

Special 0 Unit (Shinobi): A combat unit for Hunters skilled in stealth based combat. As well as being able to deceive opponents. For example Magna Centipede was part of this Unit, and he had the ability to hack into other Reploid's systems to mess with them.

4th Overland Unit (Desert Post) A series squadrons stationed in most deserts on the planet.

6th Marine Unit: Basically the Navy of the Maverick Hunters

7th Air Cavalry: Basically the Air Force of the Maverick Hunters.

8th Armored Division: A standard Military type unit. Specializing in ground combat.

9th Special Forces (Ranger): A squadron devoted to handling missions that involve special tactics (like sniping missions and assassinations.)

13th Polar Region Unit: A series of squadrons stationed in arctic regions of the planet as well as places where it snows constantly.

14th Grapple Combat Unit: A squad dedicated to handling close combat situations. Where ranged combat is not a option.

17th Elite Unit: An all around squad dedicated to handling the more dangerous jobs. Usually members of this Unit are asked to go in if missions prove to dangerous for other Units. Kind of a last resort Unit. Members of this Unit were X, and Zero during most of the X series.

The Leaders of the entire Maverick Hunters were Signas, and at some point X and Zero within the games. Signas is still the Leader of the Maverick Hunters, but X will be by his side in Leadership. X will be a part of the 17th Elite Unit once more.

Then there are the Navigators. A group of Maverick Hunters stationed at the main Maverick Hunter HQ, and they provide support like sending Hunters field data, navigation, and providing a stable communication system between Hunters. Alia and 2 other Reploids will return to the Maverick Hunters as Navigators. The other 2 Reploid's will be Layer, and Pallette. There will be more Navigators of course.

Those are all the KNOWN Units of the Maverick Hunters. The Maverick Hunters themselves are devoted in handling game characters that have turned against humanity now instead of just Reploids. Expanding the term to include any video game character that either has gone rogue and starts attacking humans, and other game characters either by will or going insane.

There won't just be Reploid's working with the Maverick Hunters. In fact normal humans, and even other characters can work for the Maverick Hunters. Whether by being temporarily hired for a bounty hunter type mission, or joining them officially.

      @NeoFox

Isaac would actually fit in many of the Units.

7th Air Cavalry: Isaac has modified thrusters on his RIG suit that can reach speeds of Mach 15, only that he can't physically handle that speed. He'll need to upgrade his suit so that he can use the thrusters to their full potential. Until then, he's stuck at Mach 7-8 with his slightly modified suit.

14th Grapple Combat Unit: Isaac may not have skills in fighting hand-to-hand, but he has enough strength to rip torsos apart, simply by SWINGING HIS ARM!!! Isaac is so strong that it's kind of scary. D8

17th Elite Unit: I personally think this one would be where Isaac would belong. He's survived so many horrible situations that he's used to dangerous missions. He is well rounded and can quickly adapt.

Yea I think Isaac would fit in with the 17th Elite Unit due to him being versatile in nearly any situation, and he can quickly adapt to a situation if need be. He is capable of using power tools as efficient killing tools for crying out loud!

Alia and even Pallette can help Isaac with modifying his suit to handle such speeds easily if he does join the Maverick Hunters.

Now here's a good question... which Units would other characters in this RP fit well into?

I find it ironic that in my story I had Maverick Pilots and some of them are Hunters, a form of mercenary group....
=w= drn it why do things come up and basically reveals that the things I came up with have been done...
ah well...it's different enough than the...wait...that is in Megaman right?

The Maverick Hunters are from the Mega Man series yes. Started out in the X series though.

John would fit into ALL of them. XD

Special 0 Unit (Shinobi): Despite the armor's weight and bulkiness, John is very stealthy. He can sneak up behind a Covenant Elite and kill them without making a sound.

4th Overland Unit (Desert Post) John's suit can survive desert conditions and would keep him safe from the heat.

6th Marine Unit: John can't swim, but thanks to his Darkness, he can use a sort of "Kenesis" to keep himself afloat. His armor also comes with oxygen, so he'll be fine.

7th Air Cavalry: John has thrusters and Darkness that can increase his speed. Not only that, but it would be absolutely terrifying to see a 1,400 pound giant barreling towards your aircraft and ramming straight through it. If need be, he can land on the craft and rip it apart with his bare hands.

8th Armored Division: Do I really need to say anything about this?

9th Special Forces (Ranger): Thanks to John's biologically enhanced eyesight and fast reaction time, John would make for a great sniper.

13th Polar Region Unit: Same reason for the desert squad. John is able to easily survive.

14th Grapple Combat Unit: John isn't good with swords, but he is deadly with his fists. Each punch could send a car flying.

17th Elite Unit: He belongs here. If he can single-handedly take on thousands of Covenant forces, then he can take on whatever they assign him to do.

They would probably have to give John the GA Rank or higher and place him into the 17th Elite Unit :P

The Maverick Hunters will also supply it's members with proper living quarters and other things to those who join. For example Isaac would get his own living quarters that suits his needs. Like a living room, a single bedroom, a kitchen, and bathroom. The appliances and food are things Isaac will have to get on his own. At least the Maverick Hunters have good pay...

Isaac has a home, but John might not have one for very long.

One of Cucoo's ideas was to have Grima attack Tokyo.

I have a feeling that John's going to be sleeping in the Forest of Magic for a while...

As for joining the Maveric Hunters, John might, but it depends on if he constantly needs to report to the HQ all the time.

More often than not, he'll be trying to stop the Auditor, stop the demons, stop Organization XIII, stop the Neo-Yakuza.

That being said, he could be called in to take care of certain targets, or for clearing entire bases.

In the end, it all depends on what happens in season 2.

John won't need to report to the Hunters all the time. Mostly only after a mission assigned by the Maverick Hunters (if he was the leader of his squad he would need to report after each mission) or when there is vital information that needs reporting (like say John discovers a spy in the Maverick Hunters, or if John found out something important like he found out the location of an enemy base.)

Even if John is only working as a bounty hunter or so for the Maverick Hunters (being called in when needed) he will still be payed quite well. Enough to afford food and other things to help make living a little bit easier. (In fact if he only works as a bounty hunter for the Maverick Hunters they might need to pay him more than they would a normal hunter. Though not as often as a actual member of the Hunters would be payed. Meaning: John works for Hunters: Steady income, John does not work for the Hunters but takes up jobs: Increased pay, but not as constant as an actual employee would be payed.)

In fact due to John's status, and the fact that he helped save the world the Hunters might actually supply him with a decent amount of money. Most likely just enough to start out in finding a home.

It sounds like Mercinary might be a better job for him.

It all depends on how the story unfolds.

I'm also quite surprised no one attempted to at least guess on what Sigma will be planning on using the Enigma Cannon for. I mean I did mention that Sigma will be having his men steal the freaking thing via powerful teleportation technology.

                        I'll just give one hint...
It won't be a good thing with what he will be using it for. By that I mean he will be making it a more consistent weapon.

He might want to be careful then, or else he's going to piss off Prometheus Labs, on top of the Maverick Hunters.

Reploids on one front, and Spartans on another.

That would make for a very dangerous combination, one that even Sigma should be wary of, especially if Prometheus Labs decide to give the Maverick Hunters MAC Cannons for their air force.

Now that I think about it, a Super MAC might be more dangerous than the Enigma Cannon, at least in terms of fire rate and damage. They do have limited ammo though, and the rounds are thousands of pounds in weight.

In the end, it's like comparing plasma weaponry with bullet weapons. They each serve a purpose.

Good point. Doing that would make Sigma and his men a TOP priority to be taken out. Sigma will be using the Enigma Cannon for his final form. As his Final Form will pretty much be fusing himself to the Enigma Cannon. Giving him the sheer power of it (capable of destroying fleets with a single blast) as well as being able to use the power output of the Cannon to give him increased abilities. Like the ability to make a near impenetrable barrier of energy around himself for brief periods of time, as well as other abilities. That's worse cast scenario. By that I mean if he gets all the supplies to successfully fuel it. Which is what his main Mavericks will be doing. They will also be finding the correct parts to fuel the Enigma Cannon to make it more consistent. If they are successfully stopped then Sigma's plans will need to be changed.

A fierce army of the Prometheus Labs, and the Maverick Hunters combined will be absolutely dreadful to Sigma's army (unfortunately though Sigma will also be having the power of Model W. Allowing him to feed off of negative thoughts and emotions to increase his strength. The the more he uses it the more insane he will get. Something that Prometheus and Pandora would both enjoy...)

I imagine the scene going on... Sigma's final form was revealed. A large machine with the Enigma Cannon as the main engine. As the group watch on as Sigma towers over them the sound of a army consisting of over a million troops consisting of Spartan's, Reploid's, and other characters appear on the battlefield. All weapons aimed at Sigma as the Signas the leader of the Maverick Hunters, and the Leader of the Prometheus Labs stand by ready to give the order...

Also I pictured after the whole ordeal the Prometheus Labs and the Maverick Hunters would most likely form a true alliance. Maybe even merging together to form one large organization dedicated to trying to keep peace.

I think all the bad guys should form their own alliance. Every video game bad guy vs all the good guys.
...the planet will not survive the clash.

Concerning my plan to have Grima attack Tokyo...
I think that has changed slightly depending on how everything ends.
If Robin Survives past the ending of this season then things will be different.
If he dies (but his body is still in one piece i.e. drowning)

                              thus creating this scenario

                              which leads to this

Then we would see a world destruction rampage from Grima.

I should also mention that Sigma's final form will be quite big. Almost Grima size big (about half of Grima's size. I mean seriously some of Sigma's forms are so large you don't even get to see the full size of them on screen.)
