@Mega
Haha!
Anyways, John is quite a bit different from his canon personality, due to the two years spent absorbed in Cortana's death, as well as him promising to try and become more human.
In canon, John is stoic and taciturn, almost never speaking. He does not like people to get in his way during a mission because he thinks they will become liabilities, but he does care about them. He is shown to be caring for those under his command and has a very big drive to win in any situation. He is also highly protective of civilians, even if he doesn't understand their undisciplined and lazy lifestyle. In fact, he became enraged when he saw civilians getting slaughtered by Covenant. Despite his serious demeanor, he does have a sense of humor, often making dry remarks about current situations. He has a dry humor, usually sarcasm.
In the RP, John is normally quiet, but will speak what's on his mind when he needs to. He is more social, due to him having to adapt to the real world. He has learned to have more patience with people and cares more about them. He can sometimes come off as caring too much, but that is because he's afraid of losing people, just like how he lost Cortana. He is more expressive as well, due to being in the real world, coupled with trying to be more hman and the other Characters influencing him. He is very naive when it comes to certain topics. You wanna know? Just ask him what "getting a room" means. He is usually calm, but will quickly lose his demeanor when faced with a situation he's not used to, often stuttering and panicking, or getting nervous and stressed. He is psychologically much weaker than his canon counterpart, but that's for balancing and developmental reasons. Hid luck plays a big part in his life, preventing him from dying, but it's also a curse. He may be lucky to a supernatural extent, but everyone else around him still has normal luck and as such, they tend to die, leaving John alone and scarring him. In the RP, John is a lot more sensitive to death, but that's because of his new emerging emotions, as well as his trauma of Cortana's death and him contemplating all the people he had cared about that died. John is conflicted by his role as a Spartan because in his eyes, Spartans are not compatible with the human mindset. He has a strong sense of right and wrong, but believes that killing is reasonable depending on the reasons behind it. He is also very inexperienced with many things. He has never gotten drunk, never eaten pizza, had his first cake in the RP (A couple of weeks in IC time), never eaten ice cream,... you get where I'm going with this.
Who knows, maybe Dante will be able to help John with some of his faults.

Looking good so far.
