    @Mega

    Haha!

    Anyways, John is quite a bit different from his canon personality, due to the two years spent absorbed in Cortana's death, as well as him promising to try and become more human.

    In canon, John is stoic and taciturn, almost never speaking. He does not like people to get in his way during a mission because he thinks they will become liabilities, but he does care about them. He is shown to be caring for those under his command and has a very big drive to win in any situation. He is also highly protective of civilians, even if he doesn't understand their undisciplined and lazy lifestyle. In fact, he became enraged when he saw civilians getting slaughtered by Covenant. Despite his serious demeanor, he does have a sense of humor, often making dry remarks about current situations. He has a dry humor, usually sarcasm.

    In the RP, John is normally quiet, but will speak what's on his mind when he needs to. He is more social, due to him having to adapt to the real world. He has learned to have more patience with people and cares more about them. He can sometimes come off as caring too much, but that is because he's afraid of losing people, just like how he lost Cortana. He is more expressive as well, due to being in the real world, coupled with trying to be more hman and the other Characters influencing him. He is very naive when it comes to certain topics. You wanna know? Just ask him what "getting a room" means. He is usually calm, but will quickly lose his demeanor when faced with a situation he's not used to, often stuttering and panicking, or getting nervous and stressed. He is psychologically much weaker than his canon counterpart, but that's for balancing and developmental reasons. Hid luck plays a big part in his life, preventing him from dying, but it's also a curse. He may be lucky to a supernatural extent, but everyone else around him still has normal luck and as such, they tend to die, leaving John alone and scarring him. In the RP, John is a lot more sensitive to death, but that's because of his new emerging emotions, as well as his trauma of Cortana's death and him contemplating all the people he had cared about that died. John is conflicted by his role as a Spartan because in his eyes, Spartans are not compatible with the human mindset. He has a strong sense of right and wrong, but believes that killing is reasonable depending on the reasons behind it. He is also very inexperienced with many things. He has never gotten drunk, never eaten pizza, had his first cake in the RP (A couple of weeks in IC time), never eaten ice cream,... you get where I'm going with this.

    Who knows, maybe Dante will be able to help John with some of his faults.

    @Cucoo

    Looking good so far.

      Wow...

      John... really needs someone like Dante to help him experience those things.

      I can just imagine after one battle or so Dante drags John along to someplace to let John try all the things he had never done before. :P

      I think Dante and John would actually become good friends. Maybe even best buds of sorts.

      Anyways Dante had definitely aged personality wise (and even in appearance) in the games.

      In Devil May Cry 3 which is a prequel to the series Dante is his usual self. Always cracking a joke, and never taking anything truly seriously until the end.
      DMC3 Dante:
      Spoiler:

      In Devil May Cry (the second game plot wise) Dante seems to have aged a bit. He is a bit more mature, and genuinely shows some worry when Trish supposedly dies (and is the result of one of the cheesiest lines in the series right before the final boss.)
      DMC 1 Dante:
      Spoiler:

      In Devil May Cry 4 (3rd game in the series plot wise) he is a bit the same as he was in DMC1.
      DMC4 Dante:
      Spoiler:

      In Devil May Cry 2 (the final game plot wise) he is far less cocky than before and is visually older. He also had a tendency to flip a coin to make decisions...
      DMC2 Dante:
      Spoiler:

      I kind of had decided to have Dante as he was in Devil May Cry 4 for the RP. Mostly because I like that incarnation of Dante a bit more.
      Do you really think I'm that stupid? *Walks into a door* Okay maybe I am that stupid...

        @Mega

        It would be an easier question to answer if you asked what John has experienced.

        He has fought in over 200 battles, is a sub-par cook, knows how to use a coffee maker, knows how to buy groceries, knows how to clean, knows some music (only Murasa's dubstep and Avery Johnson's "flip music".), ate his first cake, took his first vacation in the Hawaii Arc, and knows some parts of the internet, due to him researching Characters for threat assessments.

        As you can see, John could use some serious work.

        He may be a very powerful person, but he's incredibly weak in other areas.

        I can only imagine what Dante would ask John about in terms of experiencing things.

        What do you think Dante would ask John about?

            Good point...

            Anyways I think Dante could easily help John when it comes to experiencing those things.

            I picture a bit of interaction between Dante and John while they are in Gensokyo in the second season.

            @Neo

            Welcome back sis.

            Also what should I have Dante do? Go to the funeral or something?

              Oh yea I will be busy for most of the day. I won't be on long. I will be leaving soon, but I should be back sometime around 12:00 in the afternoon.

              S121 Please tell Wriggle not to start absolutely ANYTHING until I return today okay? I'm tired of missing things because of how busy I've been lately. I really am.

              I seriously do want to take part in the final part of this RP (the true final part.)

                Welcome back!

                No worries, I'll tell him.

                We also need to gather Kristia and Wonder, so you're not alone.

                @Mega

                I do too.

                It will be interesting to see how things turn out.

                  Thanks. I'll try and get back as soon as possible today.

                  (I swear if Wriggle continues without me... I'll freaking go berserk...)

                  Well I'm off. Bye.

                    @S121

                    Yea it would be interesting to see.
                    Especially when Vergil is freed from Mundus's control, and Sparda makes a grand return after disappearing sometime before or on Dante and Vergil's 8th birthday. Oh boy is there going to be some serious conversations between the three.

                    Vergil would be hesitant to talk to his father.

                    Dante would not want to talk to his father at first due to him just disappearing when they were young. As such was not there to stop the demons that invaded Dante's and Vergil's childhood home and in turn Eva their mother died. After of which no one knows what happened to Vergil (it says he left right after that to look for more power) and both twins (Dante and Vergil) were both considered dead for some time.

                    Sparda would just be somewhat saddened that his sons do not wish to talk to him, but would kindly understand. Probably would state "Just give them some time... Eventually they will both wish to talk to me. Then I can explain about my sudden disappearance" or something.

                      Morning Guys.

                      @S121
                      Come to think of it, I do think that HM would be a really hard battle because, ya know, one cannot simply search HM's weakness.

                      Comment

                        Well, you can't search the Auditor's weaknesses, because, in all honesty, he barely has any. If it weren't for Tricky, Auditor would've killed Hank and Sanford in the animations.

                        Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

                        You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

                          Well, you did say that one of his weaknesses was high concentrations of energy. All I'm really trying to do is find ways to defend against reality warping.

                          I suppose I forgot that and went on an info binge, reading all I could on reality warpers.

                          Where's my degree?

                          Anyways, in my info binge, I found that John does in fact have something that could help him. In a way, John is a reality warper too, it's just that he has no control over it. His luck would be the manipulation on Probability. He can make the improbable probable and do the impossible. It's a fancy way of saying luck, but it gives you a true understanding of the importance of luck. He does have his super-human abilities to back him up, so he's not entirely powerless in a fight. With his Light and Darkness, and a little bit of creativity and luck, he should be able to hold his own against the Auditor.

                          Who knows, with some preparation, John just might be able to pull it off.

                          @Wonder

                          Somewhat.

                          John would just have to get creative, and he does know what a MIHI is and what it can do, thanks to the scientist in the facility in Hawaii. John has to destroy the body, then the MIHI itself.

                            Well, for one, Auditor could control his luck with the Improbability Drive, there's that, and you may also have to deal with the Lords of Hell.

                              I actually found out that there are in fact immunities to reality warping that can be achieved by various methods. Some reality warpers can make themselves and others immune to reality warping, while another method would be to have a powerful protection ward of some kind. I didn't look too much into the page on countermeasures, I only skimmed it. I'll read further into it later.

                                As long as you're in the Improbability Drive's radius, that ain't gonna help you much.
