Rockhill District: Kalkun
Jason saw that the situation was starting to go south, so he decided to intervene.
He jumped up onto one of the nearby buildings and pulled out a tiny brown stick with a fuse in it.
It looked as if it was a firecracker.
Jason lit the tip by vibrating the fuse until it lit, then threw it into the air. The moment it left his hand and went 20 feet into the air, the firecracker exploded.
At that moment, Jason sped up it's shockwave, amplifying it's force and how much sound it produced.
The resulting boom was enough to get the villagers' attention. They all looked up at him, expecting to see the fire mage, but instead, they saw a boy with a strange chestplate and a red cloth wrapped around his head. The sun shined down on him and cast his shadow on the villagers. Jason then began to spin a lie of his own, one that they were from an organization that hunts Tyruss's men.
"Listen here! My friend is NOT the firestarter! You want to know why? Because we were out there when it happened!", Jason yelled as he pointed at the far rocks they were resting at a moment ago.
"Perhaps it's tempting to try and find the easiest possible explanation, namely blaming the fire mage, but is that really how you guys are going to play this? We may be in Medieval times, but we are NOT Medieval people. We use logic to dictate our actions! The fact of the matter is, someone here is trying to frame my friend!", Jason shouted.
He then turned and pointed to the water mage.
"If you REALLY want to know why we're here, it's to hunt Tyruss's men! You see, they're trying to make our lives a living hell by framing us and hunting us down while we're weak! Who is that b*tch to point the finger at my friend!? Did she see what was going on? NO! What you should know is that my friend and I are from an advanced militia group that hunts Tyruss's men! We hunt all of his spies and soldiers down and we kill them! I can't reveal my sources, due to the secrecy we need to maintain, in order to maintain operational security, but my contacts are NEVER WRONG! My contacts state that this woman is one of his many spies! They are a slippery bunch, capable of spinning lies with ease, blending in with the crows=d, and sneaking into fortified areas without being noticed! That being said, I need everyone to evacuate the area! This woman is dangerous despite her appearance! We'll try and get her away from the village, but we can't guarantee anything! Do NOT ENGAGE HER! She is dangerous! We'll take care of her! Go hide and keep your loved ones close! Keep them safe!", Jason shouted.
The most of the villagers began to quickly disperse and run to their homes, while others seemed to be unsure.
"Go! Do you want to get caught in the crossfire!?", Jason shouted at the remaining villagers.
They didn't leave, but they at least kept their distance from the scene.
Jason then turned his head to the water mage.
