Monthly Building Contest

I would like to judge this time, redstone is one of those things that you can work in so many ways that creativity will always be a thing, I would really like to see what the contestants can come up with.

Sometimes you have to accept the fact that certain things will never go back to how they used to be.

@TRXD: Understandable in that regard, but what I would probably do is have my contraption where the judges would be required to place the sponge in the appropriate places of the contraption so they can see how it works for themselves, and just have them remove the sponge when they're done.

@nickmaster00: Honestly, I have no idea how good you are with redstone nor how good you are with judging, so I will have to decline you as a judge for now.

@Everyone else: Added you guys to the list of contestants.

And the winner for the month of August is...
Redleaf64!
Final score: 8.0
Congratulations, Redleaf64! You've won the August contest! You will receive your 25 winning Kagome Bills along with the 5 Kagome Bills for participating!

Second place is TRXD!
You'll get 15 Kagome bills along with your 5 Kagome bills for participating!

And third is Lunasa Prismriver!
You'll get 5 Kagome bills along with your 5 Kagome bills for participating!

Everyone else, thank you for participating! You will receive your 5 Kagome Bills too for participating!

Here are the results:Results breakdown: Of your overall score, Theme was worth 30%, Functionality was worth 30%, Detail was worth 20%, and Creativity was worth 20%

Redleaf64 Theme: 7 Functionality: 10 Detail: 7 Creativity: 8 Theme: 7 Functionality: 10 Detail: 8 Creativity: 6 PhantomNerifes: 8.1 Aka Izayoi: 7.9 Average: 8

Due to Leon and Shimitty dropping out, they will not be receiving Kagome bills. Scooter will still receive 5 Kagome bills due to a misunderstanding we had.

Phantom and Sakuya have a more in depth written analysis for how they did their scores. I will allow them to post the rest if they wish to.

Aka Izayoi's comments:
Lunasa Prismriver Exhibits good understanding of several redstone circuitry systems, capable of handling complex separate systems. A good addition with the use of a contestant established theme in junction with contest theme; allowing to present multiple circuit systems. Overall, presentation well done.
Tenko Good potiential with a compact system, but falling short due to being incomplete.
TRXD Simple, straight-forward single button, dual-parallel circuitry system. Functional as required, but nothing more. Shows understanding and handling of basic functional redstone circuitry.
Redleaf64 Shows good understanding of redstone circuitry, using complex systems, memory circuitry, to combine dualpurpose mechanism component system with space efficiency. A good addition of a contestant theme, dry dock, in junction with contest theme.

I do apologize on not getting around to giving out Kagome Bills yet, but I don't think there is currently a black market at the moment for spending the Kagome Bills on. Please wait warmly~

How the hell did I get second? Like, I flubbed up big time! I took the instructions literally (severely limiting my build compared to all other entries), half-assed it (I could've done a LOT better), AND didn't even finish it!
I'm not ungrateful for my positioning but I am shocked that I beat Lunasa. Lunasa did a lot better than I did.

Admittedly, were it not for the update, I'm certain this month would've gone a lot better and smoother. I forgot about my entry so many times because I too busy working in survival. The 1.10 hype was real!

Smash through the blocks that bar your way; No time for fear, just let it all fall away; Nobody believes in me and you, Just look at the way they stare; So what if we live in a walled garden, As long as I've got you then I don't care!

My software doesn't have bugs. It just develops random features.
Do you have a hour emergency call systems broadcasting radio station WNYW or Internet Explorer? Well? Which one?

Added you, Red.

Also, I am adding myself as a judge, though I am unsure if I will have the time to judge. College is going to be very busy for me this year. @_@
