          a few people here keep calling the avatar the profile picture...
          ...even though the profile picture is a totally different thing...

            That's because only vBulletin forum users and outdated website users say avatars. Everywhere else, an image that is associated with a website user is called a profile picture. I was aware of the difference and the namings in vBulletin forums but I'm so used to saying profile picture.

                  It's an avatar, not a profile picture. Avatar's what everbody sees when you post, profile picture's on your profile.

                  Now you know.


                  Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

                  You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

                        Yeah... It's a big pain in the ass. Well, in the meantime, I'll be working on a project that is more than a year old. One that I've been meaning to do for a long while now. I could reveal it right now but, at the moment, the project is STILL in its very early stages.
