"We must cut those wings to make this battle fair" Nera growled with excitement

Jack thought about it.

"Alright, but I have to tell you I have an ability called near-teleportation. It's where I get from one place to another within half a second by jumping high into the air and landing at incredible speeds. It's called 'near' teleportation because material objects can get in my way. Would it help to jump on? Are there any hazards on it's back?"

Volgin sat up and felt at his chest on the device.

"... I didn't know he put that there... Perhaps when I was asleep. Either way, I hope I didn't get hit by radioactivity with that thing..."

"I donīt know about him having hazardous skin, but that abilty just gave me an idea" Nera spoke seeing the tree and its branches

"Does that jump ability works if you have someone holding you? I think we can use it to make a slingshot attack" the lucario asked the time traveler

Meta-Ridley continued to fly towards them, and as they both jumped out of the way of his frontal assault Meta-Ridley then flew high up into the air as it let out a loud ear-piercing roar. The beast that was larger than a military tank continued to fly high into the air as it opened its mouth, unleashing a massive flurry of fireballs that began raining down on the ground, exploding as they impacted the platform. The platform, and the branch it was resting on let out shook slightly, but the both remained completely intact.

The Robotic Dragon began to circle the platform, and the entire tree at a very safe distance, examining the entire platform and its new prey before it disappeared out of sigh as it flew behind the rest of the giant Tree of El. Though the flapping of its metallic wings could be heard still... before the flapping completely stopped... and the sound of metal claws scrapping against the bark of the tree could be heard getting closer and closer. Meta-Ridley was using his sharp, titanium claws to climb alongside the bark of the tree well below the platform.

The crystal didn't budge. The Tortodrone, on the other hand, did a 360 spin in the air due to the strength from her legs, but landed on it's two feet. The ground rumbled and cracked, small chips falling into the void below. The crystal's energy strengthened, encapsulating Takoizu's shield bubble. It was becoming desperate.

"The sword!" HP called out.

Koishi shook her head. "No. Now why don't we hunt ourselves an angel?"

Koishi went back the way they camer in, going back down the hall, the huge cannon sticking to her back via magic. She entered the teleporter hub.

"Situation?" Koishi asked one of the operators.

"The undead have been contained in the city. But something's happening down there. Some kind of strange energy build-up, coming from the crater. We can't send you straight there, but we can get you in 1/2 mile away for safety.

"That's good enough. We can fly." Koishi said.

Nera looked how Ridley skirted through the sky and hide around the great tree, she smirked when the sound of what could be something ripping in a wall could be heard ("Hiding from eye view wonīt work lizard guy") she thought closing her eyes and putting her paw on the floor.

using her aura, the lucario could sense the treeīs life essence, even though it was created almost out of nowhere, it was still alive. Between the light coming from the treeīs "veins", Nera got the glimpse of a purplish and yellow aura "He is trying to use the tree as a cover from our eye view, we better be prepared for a quick attack she said opening her eyes.

Betwixt and Between (Corridor of Darkness)

When John heard Mara's plan, he shook his head and spoke.

"That won't work. The Nobodies are too densely spaced. If I try to run through, they'll eventually slow me to a stop. We'll need to thin them out or scatter them first. I'll handle that.", John explained to Mara as he prepared his next counter-attack.

As John's Darkness energy charged, he began to shrink his shield more and more, making it so that he required less power to maintain the shield, as well as making it denser and stronger than before. After it shrank down to about 20 feet in diameter, John focused back on his attack, this time charging up his light magic as well. Before too long, Darkness began to seep from the spaces beneath John's armor plating while a white aura lined his body.

"Hold them off a little bit longer. I need to finish charging. Tell me when you're done. After you finish, get the sled close to me, and I'll fire off a blast to clear the way.", John said to Mara.





Fiendish City

Upon hearing The Higher Power, Takoizu quickly pulled out the sword and stabbed it into the space between the Tortodrome and the crystal with all of her might. As soon as the blade was in place, Takoizu pushed down on it, attempting to pry the crystal out from the Tortodrome.





INV Flying Armory - Sky - Santa Cruz - California | Night

As the operator told Koishi that they would need to travel half a mile, Isaac loaded and prepped all the weapons he was currently holding, readying them for the inevitable conflict with the creatures still roaming the city. Once he was done, he looked over to Koishi and spoke.

"How bad do you think it is out there now?", Isaac asked Koishi as he put his weapons away.





Doctor's Office - Infirmary - Prometheus Labs - London | Dawn

"No need to worry. We found no sources of radiation on the device. You'll be safe.", the SPARTAN doctor said to Volgin as he prepped another device.

Unlike the device on the ceiling, this one was hidden within the table, unfolding on a mechanical arm after being activated. After positioning the device over Volgin's chest, the SPARTAN doctor spoke once more.

"Okay, hold still and the device will be gone in a few seconds."[/B][/color], the SPARTAN doctor said to Volgin.

Kawashiro Residency - Kappa Village - Gensokyo

Max nodded as he quickly went to go get the bandages.

As Max did so Tails spoke up.

"Uh excuse me Ms. Kawashiro? My name is Miles "Tails" Prower, but you can call me Tails. I kind of need some help with something. You see I was flying my plane with one of my friends when suddenly it just got shot down. The plane and myself went down crashing into the forest near the base of the mountains, while my friend was sent flying out of the plane from the initial impact from whatever shot us. We also lost something very valuable that we just can't afford to lose. I heard that the Kappa are very knowledgeable when it comes to repairing, and building all sorts of machinery, and since I was in the area after I woke up I found that kid you call Max, and Eirin. Since they were heading here I decided to join them in hopes that I could get someone to at least help me repair my plane. I couldn't find a Kappa that would help me, but I figured you could sometime. That is if you are not busy, I mean I could wait." Tails asked and explained in a clear, calm, and oddly mature fashion for his age.

After Tails explained his predicament to Mitori, Max came back with the bandages. "Okay I got the bandages. Now what?"



London | Dawn

After all three landed on the ground Eve quickly opened up a holographic radar of sorts through the blue lens on her forehead. The radar was used to pick up any remaining traces of Dark El, and hopefully track it back down to its source. Meanwhile Aisha was standing by as her Demon Bat Angkor was... consuming Dark El, visible as it was eating streams of a black mist-like substance. "Ms. Aisha this Dark El tastes funky!" Angkor said as it stopped eating the Dark El before flying back to her side.

Aisha looked a bit interested in what Angkor said. "Funky? How is it Funky? It's Dark El we're talking about. It is definitely going to taste 'funky'." Aisha replied as Angkor begin to sort of "analyze" the Dark El it consumed. After it did it turned to Aisha with a look of gloom in its beady yellow eyes.

"It reeks of the Taste of the Demons, sacred water, and something else." Angkor said... After hearing it Angkor landed on Aisha's head, resting as though it was tired.

Hearing this Aisha began to think of what it could be.

"... Demon Taste is obvious, but the sacred water... The only demons that could possibly taste like sacred water are the demons that absorbed the Sacred Waters of... Hamel... Angkor... what was that other taste..?" Aisha said as she seemed to get a small look of dread on her face. Eve who was hearing this turned to Aisha. Eve then began to scan as much as she could, trying to find out the source as well.

"The Sacred Waters of Hamel were absorbed as well as corrupted by the Demon Army of Ran before we had entered this world. The only logical sense is that the Demons were in fact from Hamel and was sent by Ran. That seems to be the most logical answer I can come up with." Eve said as she continued to analyze the Dark El... little did they know there was a bit of liquid Dark El on the street in the crater that the demon Uno Hound had created. Albeit a rather small puddle.

"From when the Inventory arrived, pretty bad." Koishi said.

"Many survivors were found and evacuated to a safe distance behind the quarantine walls we have enacted. Many didn't make it, however, and were converted." the operator replied. "I would move with haste. The energy's still building up, and if it keeps building like this, it will not end well."

"You heard the man. Ready?" Koishi said, stepping on the teleporter.

The crystal still did not budge, though the Tortodrone did roar in anger.

"Just stab it, seriously, the thing isn't a goddamn crowbar!" HP said, forming two revolvers in his hands, with a white finish, gold highlights and decorations that looked like wings on the barrel.

Jack took out his machete and a tracking device. He put the tracking device in his pocket and took out a tracker.

"I'll provide a distraction. Use this tracker to track and predict our next movements. That's when you'll do an attack from behind. As it changes focus to you, I will mount the back and dig my machete into its back. I will leave the machete in the back and you will grab my hand. I will then use my NTP to fly us into the sky. I will act as your slingshot and fling you towards the monster and you are going to finish it off. You got that?"

Taking the tracking device, Nera nodded "Allright, try to avoid his claws, they are possibly his most powerful asset" she spoke already stretching her limbs and checking the bone javelin

The lucario jumped from the platform and skirted her way around the branches to hide from the mecha pterodactyl

Betwixt and Between (Corridor of Darkness)

Mara took aim to the oncoming nobodies as her sled was almost done. Her energy was quickly wanning as her breath started to form clouds of cold air

"Whenever you are ready spartan" the froslass spoke prepared

Bang looked at Kogasa as he began to follow her, however he turned back to Byakuren and gave her a thumbs up as well as a smile.

"I must thank you Lady Byakuren for tending to my injuries. If it were not for you I fear that I would not have survived any longer. For now I must go and rest, but tomorrow is a new day! As such I will be ready for anything, even with anything you might need help with. Now goodnight Byakuren, and rest easy!" Bang said in a somewhat loud, and confident tone before leaving Byakuren's room.


Santa Cruz - California

Jubei looked at Komachi and chuckled as he grabbed one of his swords with his two tails. "Well I am not a Youkai nor a demon. I'm what I said, a beastkin. Part beast, part human. Either way the details are not really important now are they? Also to answer your question... I have no reason to be against ya now correct? From what I saw you were killing these things..." Jubei replied as suddenly a series of 3 metal claws came out of the ends of each of his paw-like sleeves. Now ready for battle he got into an offensive pose. "And as such I don't have any doubt that you are wishing to protect this city, so I'm gonna help ya out! Now watch out, here they come!" Jubei yelled as he quickly dashed into the hoard of the undead, skillfully and gracefully he used his cat-like reflexes and agility to weave in and out of the undead, slicing each one as he passes by with his claws and sword.

Little did they know Meta-Ridley was prepared for anything. Using Space Pirate tech he had a built in Heat Sensor. He then used his built in Heat Sensors to try and track where the two are. He saw one heat signature run off behind the tree, however one seemed to remain in place on the platform. Seeing this he instinctively flew off and away from the tree, and the platform so that the one that hopped from platform to platform alongside the El Tree would be unable to sneak up on him from behind. He then flew high up above the platform and began circling it, looking down at Jack Meta-Ridley roared loudly, his roar would be ear grating if he was any closer to the platform. That is when he landed on the platform with a loud slam, shaking the entire platform to try and make Jack let up his guard. Meta Ridley then began to open his mouth as a light began to emanate from inside... ready to fire a powerful laser straight at Jack, and leaving the inside of his mouth, one of his most vulnerable parts of his body open for attack as he charged the laser.

"Oh good, here, I'll take them." Mitori took the bandages. "Here, Eirin-san, I'll bandage your wound."

"I'm telling you, I'm fine..." Eirin protested, but did not openly revolt as Mitori wrapped Eirin's head with the bandages.

"Give me one second, I want to make sure Eirin-san is okay." Mitori said to Tails. Eirin took off her jacket becuase of the house's warmth, exposing the absence of her left arm. Mitori cringed and said: "I flinch every time I look at your arm, Eirin-san."

"That's why I was looking for Miss Kawashiro. I'm thinking of getting a prosthetic arm." Eirin chuckled.

"Yeah it's probably better to get Nitori to make them. Hers will be a lot lighter." Mitori acknowledged as she put the final touches on Eirin's bandages that covered her right eye. "All done. So, Tails, was it? You said you needed something done for your airplane?"

"I've never seen Byakuren so flustered like that." Kogasa pondered. "Surprising, but it's whatever. Come on, you, let's see if there's any empty room for you to spend the night in."

"Okay Mitori. Oh by the way I'm going to go work on getting that fuel pack for my Ridepod if you don't mind." Max said as he quickly ran off to the garage.

Tails watched Max as he left again, and afterwards he turned to Mitori.
"Yes. All I need help with is getting the wreckage to a garage. If I can get that then I can handle the rest. After that I will get out of your hair, and head out in search of my friend Sonic, and the Chaos Emerald we lost."
