Myouren Temple - Gensokyo

The Medic who had finally finished drinking his tea yawned as he watched Bang and Byakuren leave for their rooms for the night. With nothing else left for him the Medic stood up as he grabbed his equipment.

"Ah I think it is about time zat I leave for ze night as well. Miss Eirin Yagakoro can vait some other time. For now I bid you a farewell. Goodbye." The Medic said to Ichirin as he then made his leave. With everything here taken care of the Medic began to make his way back to the Inn for the night.



Henir's Time and Space - Silent Hill

When Renamon picked up the radio the static became even worse, to the point that it was nothing more than a loud screech coming from the small handheld device. All the while the sound of metal scraping against concrete was also close, it was now coming from the entrance to the alleyway. If they looked in that direction they would see a rather tall, and well-built adult male wearing nothing but an apron, white rubber gloves, and what looks to be a large rusted, red metal pyramid casing around it's head. Blood wassplattered all over it's body, and in one hand it was carrying what looked to be a large rusted kitchen knife... in the other was the dead body of some unidentified creature. It was dragging both objects along the ground, and when it walked right pasted the alleyway it stopped and turned in the direction of the trio.

The monstrosity simply stared at the trio as it dropped the dead body on the ground. The monster then raised its hand as it pointed right at Jack, as though it was wanting the man to come closer...



Russia - Outskirts of Vladivostok

The battle between Elesis and Berthe dragged on for a while, Berthe finally fired it's Final Freezing Beam at Elesis, but she countered the icy blast with her own Blazing Wing, a powerful fireball that upon contact with Berthe's attack, detonated. Causing a large fiery explosion that left Berthe stunned. Using this as an opportunity to finish the battle, Elesis sprinted toward Berthe as a fiery aura surrounded the Blazing Heart. Once she was close enough she stabbed her blade through the demon's chest.

"Time to end this you arrogant son of a b****! ANCIENT FIRE!!!" Elesis proclaimed as she let out all her power in a fiery vertical blast that consumed Berthe and herself. Thankfully her fire magic was protecting her from her own attack, thus damaging nothing else but Berthe, with the fire pillar extending high up into the sky.

Samus and Shepard were heading towards an area with high pazhon energy levels, the location was on the eastern areas of Russia and close to the coast "That blasted space pterodactyl enjoys being hidden, I´m sure he already has this base all built with more than enough traps to make the day better" the bounty hunter spoke actually used to the idea as she took a moment to relax on her seat.

The commander was looking through the window agreeing with the blonde "I think I have had the same situation with the collectors, ugh, that Harbinger with "Asuming control" was a pain because his minions got stronger every time he appeared" she remembered one of her many battles but then noticed something coming from the ground "Look out!" she warned

Samus instantly got on the controls and saw the oncoming pillar of fire, with a swear she managed to make the ship evade the scorching attack and started scanning for any threat "Whoever that fired that thing is strong because I can only detect one being in the ground" Samus pointed out and continued "And brought the attention of more creatures, the zone will get hot in minutes" she said making her ship get close to the ground to see who was that being who fired such thing

Jack noticed the gesture.

"So you want me to come over? I suppose you're not idiotic enough to try and attack me with such an open invitation."

He walked over to triangle face and stood in front of him.

"... Well? What is it?"

Nera was having problem with sound due to her heightened hearing senses when she noticed Jack walking directly to the giant knife user, just by seeing such being gave the Lucario alarms all over the place "Jack! Get away from him!" she tried to reach for the machete user without hesitation.

When Jack approached the creature with a Pyramid for a Head, it lowered it's arm before becoming completely motionless for a moment. During this time what looked to be a small cockroach landed on Jack's shoulder... followed by another and another... Until they the blasted things came crawling out of every nook and cranny until there was a swarm of them in the alley surrounding the trio.

Suddenly the Pyramid Headed creature began to lift it's knife into the air as it was preparing to strike down at Jack.

The Ancient Fire after a solid minute finally subsided as Berthe was no longer there, as he was completely incinerated by the blast. Elesis remained still standing, tired and exhausted from the amount of energy she put into the attack, but still standing nonetheless.

"Finally... I... got rid of you, you damned demon... Now I-" Elesis commented as she felt a large presence of Dark El suddenly began manifesting in the area around her. "Oh you got to be f***ing kidding me..." She cursed under her breath as she saw what seemed to be a hundred demons approaching.

Then out of the ground a large black mass of demonic El formed, and from it a large demon at least three times the Blazing Heart's size emerged.

"Attack! Consume her power!" The demon known as the Shadow Master as an army of smaller demons came in rushing after Elesis.

Elesis though tired, readied her blade as she was willing to keep fighting if she has to. "Come on then you bast*rds! I'll take you all on if I have to!" Elesis roared as she charged towards the army of the demons.

Jack didn't budge over the roaches that appeared. Then, he saw Pyramid Head lift his knife.

"So you are that stupid?! Well go on! Bring it!"

He clenched his fist, ready to clasp the knife.

Nera ran as fast as she could and took Jack away from the pyramid head "Are you crazy!? don´t think you can beat him without your powers" she yelled as she pulled him to a safer part of the are

Meanwhile Renamon took the trash can and threw it to the pyramid head to distract him

Samus and Shepard jumped out of the ship at a safe height and started firing at the lesser demons while coming their way towards who looked to be the only human against the horde

As Pyramid Head was about the drop the large knife down on Jack, Nera quickly pulled the time traveler away while Renamon kicked a trash can at Pyramid Head's direction. Pyramid Head dropped down the knife quickly, and brought it down on the trash can. When the Great Knife came into contact with the trash can, the sheer force of the impact cut the metal trash container in half along with crushing it while sending trash everywhere. Noticing that he missed his target Pyramid Head grabbed his helmet with his free hand as he looked like he was trying to pry the large red helmet off, albeit with no luck whatsoever. Though this did not last long as Pyramid Head began chasing after the trio, slowly but surely as he dragged the large knife against the cold hard ground.

Elesis and the army of demons finally clashed as a fiery battle ensued, however the weakened and exhausted Elesis was proving to not be a match for the demonic army. Thankfully though the sudden intervention of Samus and Shepard turned the tides of the battle as the demon army was caught off guard by this unexpected duo, however Elesis used this distraction as an opportunity to jump back out of range from the gunfire from the duo. She was stunned by the sudden entrance of Samus and Shepard, but was also relieved. Looks like she doesn't have to fight this army alone... but Elesis is too tired to do anything at the moment. Elesis began to think of what to do, and thankfully something came up.


"Oh yeah I almost forgot!" She said as she reached for her belt, taking out a small bottle with a blue liquid inside with a cork keeping it sealed nice and fresh. "Damn... last mana potion... Oh well I guess now is a good time as any to use it. Bottoms up!" Said the red haired fighter as she took off the cap and began to drink the liquid inside. Slowly she could feel her energy returning to her as she drank the liquid.

Meanwhile the demons turned their attention to the immediate threat, which was apparent as the demons began to attack Samus and Shepard.

Renamon quickly got close to Jack and Nera "Right now we have nothing to defend ourselves of that guy, we must run" she said while searching for anything to defend herself in the area

Nera agreed with the fox "Our best option is to make a plan with what we find"

Russia - Outskirts of Vladivostok


Samus was actually enjoying the battle, the lesser demons were like target practice as they died easily, what gave more fun was the fact that they were trying to be organized "The more they come, the more they fall" she said to herself

The commander was having a similar situation while using her pistol "What they don´t have in quality, they got it in quantity, so keep firing", the redhead took out her shotgun and kept the horde of demons at bay.

The bounty hunter rammed her cannon on a demon´s face and fired to the one behind it "Hey girl, you must know this guys, any weakness they might have?" she asked Elesis, using her scanner would have been a good idea, but with the endless creatures coming, Samus didn´t have a chance

Jack stood himself up.

"What are you doing? I had that! My strength isn't driven by some superpower. You underestimate me. Well, either way, I guess formulating a plan would be essential."

He looked around. He found a steel pipe and picked it up. "This should do."

Nera looked at Jack and sighed "Then tell us at first before going full front, right now we are at the most basic form of our abilities and my instincts screamed danger around him" she explained

"So please, what abilities fo you have that are still in you? if you can, prove the them" the Lucario asked

Jack took the lead pipe into both hands.

"Watch me."

He tried to bend the pipe, but to no avail.

"What? Strength and speed count as abilities?!"

Renamon was the one who put the logic "Our special abilities are the ones we are used to, but when we got stripped of them, only our basic abilities stay and have the limits of normal creatures, Nera and I can use our claws and heightened senses because those are our most natural abilities, you must have what the average human of your age has."

As the trio fled, the noise the radio was making began to die down to almost nothing. The sound of Pyramid Head's Great Knife scraping along the ground began to fade off into the distance, as though the monstrosity that was chasing them decided it was not worth it to pursue the trio. However a new noise in the distance could be heard, the sound of footsteps approaching from the fog.

Elesis continued fighting the demons as she heard Samus speak up to her, asking if there are any known weakness of the demons.

"Weaknesses? Sorry but I can't think of any known weaknesses! Normally they disappear if you beat them up enough! Though I have noticed that concentrated blasts of mana or energy seems to due quite well in taking these guys out! So the best advice I can give you is to keep fighting!" Elesis replied with a energetic tone to her voice. She then jumped into the air as her blade was engulfed in fire, and with a swing of her blade she sent out a large fireball that impacted the ground, exploding on contact and damaging a large number of demons in the explosion.

Myouren Temple - Gensokyo

A new day dawned in the Myouren temple as usual. At such early an hour, you would not expect anyone to be up, but...

"Hmm hmm hmm~♪"

Every day, as early as 5:00 AM, Kyouko sweeps the temple grounds, sweeping away leaves and, in some winter days, snow away from the road. It wasn't the most bustling day of the year, but New Years is right around the corner, and Kyouko knows that visitors will pile in for Hatsumode, the process of visiting the temple in the New Years day. It is her duty to keep the shrine, and the image of the shrine to the humans in the village, clean.
