The shadow moved into the light, it's face seemed blank except for the two red eyes and the basic outline of a person's face. It started to reach for it's sword, but stopped and then simply held out it's left hand towards the two and a small spark of shadow magic jumped from it to the ground, creating a dark portal which began to grow and started to suck everything in. The Shadow Link seemed to be suspended over it.

Link tried to resist the pull of the portal by thrusting his sword into the ground.

"C'mon! Keep up the pressure!" Shulk shouted as he charged into the fray, performing a leaping slash that he held against the barrier. "GRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
The Monado's energy sparked against the barrier. Slowly, but surely, the blade grew more powerful as Shulk concentrated all his will into it. It was slowly cutting into the barrier. Arcs of Ether energy began to surround him and were rapidly growing. The Monado's light grew brighter by the second...

Takoizu was dumbfounded by The Higher Power's sudden desire to go to the arcade. Didn't he realize that they had work to do? Takoizu quickly followed behind The Higher Power, trying to talk to him.

"Hey! Now's not the time to be playing games! What are you doing!?", Takoizu asked The Higher Power in a confused and shocked tone as she followed behind.

HP turned his head back to Takoizu, but kept walking. "Not the kind of arcade you are thinking of, Tak."

Hp eventually came to a small tunnel with a tarp over it, and walked into it. The two came out in a very wide room, with vendors selling variou things, but the main note of interest was behind them. A huge row of elevators, each with a tower of various symbols, from fire, electricity, a ghost, and various other things.

"Welcome to the Arcade." HP said.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

              Michigan - Detroit

When X's charged shot connected with Prometheus, the blast sent him flying into a nearby building. The explosion from the blast was large enough to create a large cloud of dust, and debris.

"Hold your fire!" X commanded as he kept his guard up. The charge shot he fired had taken a lot out of him which is indicated by the red gem on his helmet which is faintly glowing, almost like a flicker.

Once the smoke cleared Prometheus could seen still standing among the debris. His armor was damaged and cracked in several places. "Damn you... I would never think that someone as naive, and hesitant as you would actually have the guts to attack me like that..." Prometheus said as he stood up. What looked to be black blood could be seen streaming down his cheek.

"..." X didn't say anything, instead he kept his guard up as he aimed at Prometheus. A strange look of confusion, and anger came upon X's face as he looked at Prometheus.

"T-That... that blast... I p-put everything I had into it..." X said as his X-Buster can be seen shaking. Upon seeing this Prometheus grew another sadistic grin on his face.

"What's wrong X? Don't have it in you anymore to fight? Are you seriously that weak? I was told that the great Mega Man X was the strongest Reploid in existence! WHAT A JOKE! If you really had the power to defeat me you would have done it by now! Instead your "strongest attack" only damaged my armor! Now I'll show you both why I'm called the Grim Reaper!!!" Prometheus exclaimed as he tossed his beam scythe high into the air. In almost an instant Prometheus teleported high into the air, and grabbed his scythe. As he did he quickly spread out his entire body as his blue cape vanishes. Suddenly a series of large yellow spikes start erupting from the ground at a high speed towards Lisa, and X.

Almost immediately after the spikes started erupting from the ground X quickly dashed out of the way, but due to him still needing to recover from his previous charged shot he was unable to escape in time. As such one of the yellow spikes had struck him right through the leg.

Prometheus then withdrew the spikes in X's direction and teleported once more. This time right above X. Prometheus then dashed right towards X and delivered a few quick punches and kicks before one final strike with his scythe.

As the scythe struck X's chest, X let out a loud scream of pain as Prometheus then summoned a explosive fireball which struck X right into X's opened wound. The explosion sent X flying back.

Prometheus looked at X then turned to Lisa. "Now where were we bug? Oh yeah... I was just about to send you to the scrap heap!!!" He yelled as he performed an overhead slash with his scythe, sending out a large wave of energy towards Lisa.

Prometheus Labs - London | Night

Chris and Claire were relaxing in their sleeping quarters.

Chris was cleaning his guns while Claire was reading a book when they heard the sound of banging on their door. The spartan pounding on the door also said something about Six returning, and that something wasn't good...

Chris and Claire looked at each other as they quickly got up and ran out of their quarters to check on Ib...

Takoizu was relieved to hear that the arcade was much different than what she first imagined, but she was now in front of a very strange machine with elevators. After staring at the elevators for a moment, Takoizu looked over to The Higher Power and spoke.

"Which one will take us to our destination?", Takoizu asked The Higher Power.

"Any of them. You can pick what we must go through to get to our goal. Each one's different, and each one with a different challenge." HP explained, pointing ot the tower of symbols. Each one of those symbols is a stratum. "The symbols mark what each stratum is." HP pointed to the one with a ghost. "That's undead." he pointed to another with what looked like claw marks. "That's beast. There's a lot of them."

Takoizu walked up to each elevator looked at each of the stratums carefully. From what The Higher Power told her, Takoizu drew the conclusion that they would have to go through danger that would be based on the stratum. If that was the case, then fire would be her best bet. Her suit would be able to adapt to fire more easily than against electricity, or some other element. Finally coming to a decision, Takoizu turned around and spoke to The Higher Power.

"Fire would be our best bet.", Takoizu finally said.

"Well, the thing is, that's only one stratum. To get to the core, and our destination, you gotta pass through all the stratums in a chain." HP explained.

Upon hearing The Higher Power, Takoizu's face slightly twitched in annoyance. She was hoping for a quick little task, but instead she would have to go through a tedious, dangerous mission where she would waste her time fighting various enemies, as if she was in some kind of video game.

"Why do we need to do that? Can't we just teleport to the core?", Takoizu asked The Higher Power.

Hanger - Prometheus Labs - London | Dawn

As the hangar doors opened, a badly damaged pelican could be seen barely flying in. The aircraft had various burns, scratches, and bullet holes all across the hull. Pieces of shrapnel stuck out of the left side of the craft, most likely from the explosion of a rocket, and the cockpit window was riddled with bullet holes and cracks. Most of the paint had been burned off or blackened, as if the entire craft had been put into an oven. It was clear, the mission Six went on was dangerous in every meaning of the word.

After hovering into the hangar, the badly damaged Pelican nearly crashed to the ground, but was stopped at the last second, landing hard enough to make the Pelican slightly bounce as it landed. After a moment, the back door of the Pelican opened and Six came walking out, staggering slightly as he left the incline of the ramp, but keeping his footing on the ground. Six looked no better than the Pelican. His visor had a radial crack in it with a large hole where the crack originated. Various parts of Six's armor were riddled with dents and holes from gunfire. A piece of shrapnel stuck out of Six's chestplate, almost as if he had been directly hit by a rocket or grenade. A small piece of metal stuck out of the shoulder part of his undersuit, and a metal spike protruded from his left thigh, hence the slight limp to his walk. One of his handguards were missing, possibly damaged or destroyed during his mission, and the paint on the armor was almost completely singed off. It looked as if Six came directly from his game, after The Battle of Reach. Six had a small limp in his walk, yet seemed as if he was fine for the most part, but it was clear that he was in more pain than he was letting on.

A couple of Spartans rushed over to him and began to try and get him medical attention.

"Sir! Are you alright!?", one of the Spartans asked.

"Hang on, you shouldn't be walking in this state. Just lay down, and we'll get you some medical attention.", another Spartans instructed Six.

"I'll be fine... I've had worse. I can walk myself to the medical ward.", Six said to the Spartans in a slightly strained voice, still walking across the hangar and towards the exit.

To be honest, Six was in a lot of pain, but he didn't want to worry his Spartans. After all, it was bad for morale to see their leader in such a horrible state, and he felt as if he needed to keep them in high spirits, especially after what he found out during his mission.

After the chaos subsided, Jack pulled his swords out of the ground and quickly looked over to Daniel, Raven, Lily, and Chung to see if they were alright. Daniel looked over to Jack and waved his hand, signaling that they were okay. Meanwhile, Lily looked over to Chung and spoke.

"Are you alright?", Lily asked Chung.

"Anti-magic permeates throughout the entire Clockworks. It's to keep what's down there in check. You can't gap down there, I can't teleport down there." HP explained, summoning a blade surrounded by a yellow energy, and stepping up to an elevator. "I could skip a tier of the clockworks though. I can hack the elevator. We would have to go through the second and third tiers, however." HP said.

The barrier, despite the intense barrage, still stood... but Patchouli knew that Elios was reaching his limit... The Philosopher's Stone was at full capacity as well... But was Patchouli herself ready?

Remember Patchouli, her inner self said. Doing this may result in coma and... Possibly death.

                            Don't worry, I got this.

"Stand back!" Patchouli shouted to her team as the Philosopher's Stone began moving autonomously towards Patchouli's heart.

                            "απόκρυφες σύντηξης!"

The Stone was infused into Patchouli's body, emitting a blinding purple light.

"Yeah I'm fine... I've had far worse..." He said as he looks at the still unconscious Raven. "Hey Lily how's Raven doing?" Chung asked. Raven was still unconscious, but he had a few broken ribs.

London - Old Mechanic Shop |Before the fight against the demons

Meanwhile in an old Mechanic Shop at the very edge of town Eve was still working under the alias of "Eden." The reason why she was working for the mechanic who owns the shop is because the mechanic had helped her. The guy had repaired her of her damages from before she was brought into the real world.

She had saw the news about Chung, and the Disfrozen portal earlier but she still wasn't in top notch condition to go see him. Besides she changed her identity for a reason. She didn't want anyone to find out about her yet... not until she was fully repaired.

That's when she had sensed it. Not too long ago the power of Dark El had let itself be known within the city... something that caught Eve's attention.

For the entire duration of the fight between Jack, Daniel, Lily, Elsword, and the others against the demons carried on Eve was just standing still in the shop... staring blankly into space as she detected the Dark El energy grow weaker.

"Dark El energy detected... Dark El fading... Must eliminate all Dark El..." Eve said as she was suddenly surrounded by an aura of energy. Her current mechanics uniform also immediately disintegrated, and her original outfit as the Code: Nemesis had materialized.

Before anyone in the shop could stop her, her drones Moby and Remy flew to her side as took off gliding out of the workshop at high speeds thanks to her drones helping to keep her off the ground.

Her destination... where Chung, and the others are... little does she know she is in for a treat...
