No just Disfrozen Grenades (which are just called Disfrozens which were developed before he even found his fathers notes about the Infinite El Energy engine which was then dubbed Disfrozen Portal.) They aren't that strong at all, but they can bounce off surfaces and will explode on immediate contact with an enemy. They are not exactly powered by the Disfrozen Portal. Chung's Shelling Guardian combo involves him swinging his Destroyer, then tossing a Disfrozen Grenade which bounces off 1 surface then exploding after a second or two unless it comes in contact with an enemy. The Disfrozen Grenades are generally quite weak, but they are perfect for keeping enemies at bay. Chung can also unlock a skill for his Shelling Guardian class that just is basically tossing a grenade or two (literally sometimes Chung normally tosses two grenades, but has a 20% chance to toss 4 grenades IF you have a skill note and a skill notebook to equip the skill note. Skill Notes just basically improve certain skills.)

The Disfrozen's are just useful for keeping enemies at bay, and keeping a combo and in turn the damage going smoothly.

      It would still be funny.

*Chung develops a grenade with unlimited explosive potential.*

      *Blows up the universe.*

Question... Just how many communicators does John have?

        Comment

Wait I got something even better!

Chung: "Raven, Six, Robin! I just developed a Grenade that has unlimited explosive potential!"

All three just stare at Chung slight unnerved.

Raven: "Don't you think that's a little... dangerous?"

Chung: "... Good point... too big of a boom... I'll go fix that!" *Turns around, but trips and drops the Disfrozen Grenade. Causing it to activate.*

All Three especially Raven: "Ah f***"

*Grenades explodes as well as the universe.*

Chung in the afterlife: "My bad..."

          @Wonder

Probably 1, but he can access multiple channels I guess.

            His communicator is inside of his helmet, not to the side of his head like you put in IC. -_-;

He also has the gap crystal and I think a communicator on his belt, but I can't be entirely sure without going back hundreds of pages.

                Ok.

                Oh, and welcome back.

                Welcome back.

(It's kind of pointless to say that now, isn't it.)

... *goes into a lone corner of the room*...

Well not only do I like Chung's Shelling Guardian class's gameplay, but he just looks freaking awesome/cute as well. I mean just look at him.

In his base form he looks like he can hold his own, but he also looks flat out adorable in my opinion (doesn't help that he has paw prints for iris's which just increase his adorable factor.)
But that armor just looks pretty cool on his own.

Then here he is in his Shelling Guardian Berserk Mode:

He just looks threatening to me in his Berserk Mode. I mean seriously what would you do if you were the enemy and saw someone in that armor, and wielding a large cannon like it was a feather charging towards you? Run like hell that's what... though the enemy might notice the cannon before anything else...

You know, I would estimate the cannon to weigh about 200-300 pounds.

If it was made of Titanium, then it could weigh around 100 pounds.

Titanium is about half the weight of steel, so it kind of makes sense, right?

Yea that's probably about the weight, but you do have to realize. It is said on the wiki that Chung wields the Destroyer "as though it was nothing." For someone his size, and all as well as wearing all that armor you have to be impressed by Chung's strength. Though I doubt it's made out of Titanium. It's never said what material the Destroyer was made out of. It's probably made out of something heavy making it roughly 300 or so pounds maybe. It doesn't explain how tall Chung is exactly so it can be kind of difficult to make a really accurate estimation of how much the Destroyer actually weighs. It also grows larger between Job Class so there's that as well.

                      Also funny Elsword Comic:

I always seem to try and estimate this stuff.

In fact, the MJOLNIR armor is made out of a Titanium alloy. John's armor should only be at around 400-600 pounds instead of 1,000.

I assume it's because of the alloy. Maybe the alloy is really heavy.

I tend to put too much realism into this stuff.

You mean Scary Windmill Chase :P I think it would be terrifying to turn around only to see a red haired boy flying through the air while spinning around with a sword in his hand at high speeds, as well as the boy chasing you while doing so XD

Also I estimate the Destroyer to be roughly in the range of 300-600. It only makes sense. I mean not only do you have to judge what it's made of, but also what the inner workings are made of (and how much parts are actually in the Destroyer.) I still think it's impressive that Chung can wield such a weapon with such incredible ease, even when he is wearing armor.

                          Comment

I don't think it would be that heavy. It kind of depends on what materials are used in the Disfrozen portal reactor, and whether or not radiation needs to be contained.

I assume that it would be electric, and you have to think that it somehow makes shells materialize out of nowhere, meaning that there's some kind of energy to matter converter.

It kind of reminds me of Samus's arm cannon. It's very lightweight, yet is incredibly similar to Chung's Destroyer.

Does the destroyer have a reactor, or does it draw power from Chung's suit?

It doesn't explain into detail what the Destroyer has, and the Disfrozen Portal is attached to Chung's suit. The Destroyer is practically explained as a "large cannon that is used by Chung." It's capable of firing missiles, and everything. Chung does "reload" his Destroyer, but he basically has infinite ammo. Berserk Mode just basically increases Chung's strength, and takes away the need to reload.

It's really hard to explain what certain things are made of in a game like Elsword. As such things are open to speculation.

I think I might be able to come up with an explanation for the whole reloading part, and maybe give some insight as to how the innards of the cannon look.

There could be a sort of magazine or pods that the shells/missiles are stored in, and the Disfrozen Portal acts like a capacitor, constantly charging up power for the shells, but only releasing and creating ammo when it is reloaded. In Berzerk Mode, the Portal goes into a sort of overclocking mode, removing the reload limiter of the gun, but stopping when the cannon is at full ammunition, allowing Chung to keep firing without the need to reload because the Portal is creating the shells as fast as he can fire them.

I overthink thus stuff, but it's fun.
