"The Chaos Emerald, hand it over now!" Said Shadow as he takes a few steps forward. "That emerald's power is far too dangerous for a pathetic human like you to handle!" Said Shadow as he clenches his fist. A small red aura can be coming from his fist as he prepares for an attack. "If you don't I will be sure to kill you." Said Shadow as he glares at Ocelot.

[wonderweiss]

"Eeeeeeeeeh?"

"ENGAGING SHOCK UNITS."

I got zapped again! And it hurt! Again!

"For god's sake, quit that!"

This time, I broke the voltage.

"ERROR!"

I rushed to the Pupa.

"Oh, no need to cry, I know you didn't mean it. Here, I'll give you a piece of me, my dear."

"Are you seducing my AI? Are you ok?"

All of a sudden, the Pupa stopped working.

"Wha?..."

The Pupa reactivated, but this time the red neon turned blue.

"ERROR...ERR...OR... I..."

The Pupa then gained the voice of HM.

"I'M SORRY, BUT THIS RUST BUCKET IS NOW OUT OF ORDER."

The Pupa wouldn't move.

"But..."

"Ha. It's no use. That rustbucket is down."

Jason sprinted to his Mantis and jumped inside.

"Computer, lock on to target: HM.", Jason said inside of his Mantis.


<TARGET AQUIRED>, appeared on the corner of the screen.


All of a sudden, a targeting reticle appeared over the image of HM.

Jason laid down a careful stream of 20 mm rounds at HM hitting him with each shot.

(If I can't kill him, then I'll wear him the hell out!)

I was barraged with bullets.

"God, you and those bullets..."

I tried to fight through through the bullets, but they were too heavy.

Jason saw that the bullets were working.

(Now for the fireworks...)

While the machinegun did its work, Jason locked on and fired all five of his missiles at HM.

Missles. A cliché. For god's sake.

I was assaulted by the rockets.

I was stunned for a long time.

"............. You............. Are............................................... ....................


"..............................DEEEEEEAAAAAAAADDD! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I rushed to the Mantis and made a punch so hard I punched through the leg.

"Your robot isn't worth taking over!!! I'll crush it!!!!!"

"You truly are blind as to it's power..." Said Shadow as he takes out his own Chaos Emerald. As he does his emerald starts to react in the presence of the Emerald in Ocelot's possession. Causing both of them to glow. "Let me show you there power." Said the black hedgehog as he holds his emerald in the air. "Chaos Control!" He yelled as he disappears in a flash of light, he then appears behind Ocelot and attempts a roundhouse kick to Ocelot's leg.

"Activate shields!", Jason yelled.

(That should protect me. He would need plasma to break through easily.)

All of a sudden, a thick shield formed over the Mantis, protecting it from further harm.

Jason then aimed the machinegun back on HM and continued firing.



Pacific Ocean

"..............................DEEEEEEAAAAAAAA DDD! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

John heard a commotion coming from the beach.

He looked over and saw a fight between Jason, Huey, Renamon, and a robot.

"Are you done scanning?", John asked Samus.

"Damn you!"

I took the bullet storm and began circling the Mantis at an alarming speed.

I pulled out my revolver an loaded it.

"Get ready for a fight, ya freakish animal!"

Jason saw that HM was circling the Mantis.

(Well, at least the sand will protect me. If he goes too fast, he'll slip. I just have to wait for help. In the mean time, why don't I distract him more...)

Jason knew that without the leg, he was immobile, but he wasn't completely defenseless.

Just as HM came around to his front, Jason locked on and fired a missile at him.

I grabbed he missle and kept circling. I jumped up high in the air and then smashed the missle down hard on the Mantis' head.

The shield became opaque with a gold color, then went back to being invisible.

(Very well, I'll just sit tight then.), Jason thought to himself.

"Huey, how's the Pupa coming?", Jason asked over his on board communicator.

[wonderweiss]

HM's voice came over instead of Huey's.

"WHAT EVER DO YOU MEAN? THE PUPA IS NOW IN BETTER SHAPE THAN EVER. KEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKE!!!"

Despite his situation, Jason decided to make "conversation".

"You know, nobody finds that laugh enjoyable to hear. It's probably a good thing that John put you six feet under.", Jason said in a casual tone.
