Jesus finally turned, walked towards Doomguy and went right up to his helmet, looking at him with his red, bloodshot eyes.

"Egocentric? Do you know how much we've all sacrificed? How much pain, how many deaths we've had to suffer to try and save this place called Nevada? If anyone's egocentric, it's you. Caring not for the people, but just yourself. Do you know how it feels to die? To be ripped apart, shot up, sliced, burned, oh, I could go on on the amount of ways we've died." Jesus said, his tone growing more angry with every word.

As Cole regained control of his breathing, Cole looked up towards the man questioning him. The man had his hood lowered and his face was visible. At least Cole could talk face-to-face with someone without having to battle or listen from behind a wall of glass or behind bars. Cole had numerous questions racing through his head. For now though, Cole had to comply with whatever these armoured people wanted from him before any real questions could be made.
"Yeah... I'm Cole. Cole MacGrath. Who are you? Why did you break me out of that... castle?" Cole hesitatingly responded. Cole only realised that, upon looking out of the nearest window, he had just escaped from a castle. The castle looked like a building out of a fairytale. From what he seen so far, Cole was not that surprised by it. After all, Cole just had to battle numerous strange creatures; two hooded men with unusual powers; and lastly, the girl. Cole glanced over to where the girl was being kept. She looked like she was resting peacefully and merely sleeping. Such a sight would melt anyone's heart over the sheer cuteness of it. Cole tried to shift his gaze away from the girl and back towards the man speaking to him. Cole then awaited a response from the man in question.

ACO Helicopter - Above The Castle That Never Was

"Who we are or why we're helping you is not important. We're a group known as ACO. I would tell you what it means, but that would give you the wrong impression. Case and point, we're getting you out. Nothing more, Nothing less. Although there is one thing..." The man then pulled out two clear packets with two different substances. One, with a blue substance, had a label that had FLANDRE on it and the other, with a black substance, had COLE on it. "A favor you could do us, is take these. When the girl is better, give her this." He held out the packet with the blue substance. "No sooner, no later. And then you take this." The black substance was held out to him. "I heard it's best to take with a lot of water. They have special tracking devices so we can keep an eye on ya and just...keep you safe, alright? We're here to keep you game characters from getting you or anyone else killed. That's our purpose. Now just a heads up. There's two divisions of ACO. If our sister division finds you, you're dead. Once you take this, tell no one you're a game character, got that? Just say you're a sort of...what are they called, cosplayers? Anyway, do everything you can to keep out of trouble, ya hear me?"

"No escape." Thresh sealed the doom of the jackal as the bone javelin did nothing to pierce through his chestplate. The floating green shroud of souls engulfed the jackal into a nightmare within the nightmare.

"You really don't think I care about others than myself?" The Doomguy replied harshly. "Why would I even bother tag along on this rescue mission then? The reason I called you egocentric was that you denied our help the moment we came in. And your big "friend" here isn't better either. He have been trashtalking ever since I bumped into him about him not caring at all."
The Doomguy cocks the shotguns and turns around to the exit. "I did my the extra mission I wasn't needed to do. I'm done here."

ACO Helicopter - Above The Castle That Never Was
Cole was relieved to find a few answers but not that many. The people that broken him out were a group known as ACO. Whoever they were, they seemed suspicious. But at least they could talk to him unlike the various terrorists of Empire City. Cole took both of the packets and analysed them. "FLANDRE" was written on the blue one and his name was written on the black one. Flandre... ("So that's what that girl is called... Flandre...") Cole thought to himself. Cole had never heard of such a name before. He had heard of a Flanders but not Flandre. Maybe Flandre was a female equivalent of the name.

Cole thought over what was being said to him. They were going to be tracked by these ACO people. These people who wanted to protect Cole, Flandre, and other people from them. What did these people think Cole and Flandre were? Monsters? Furthermore, Cole and Flandre were now tasked with not revealing who they are. For Cole, that would be easy. He could try his best at returning to a normal life although the time spent in the castle prison and his battle against The First Sons had taken a toll on his mental health. As for Flandre, it was unknown to Cole what she would be like. Would she try to pull the same stunt as she did back in the test chamber? Would she attempt to kill him for what he had done? Only time itself would tell.

Cole, firmly grasping the black packet, held it up to his eye level, and opened the packet. The smell from the fluid quickly filled the helicopter. It was a generic medicinal smell that one would expect from ordinary medicine. Artificial, strong, and horrid. The smell reminded him of the time he spent in hospital after having activated the Raysphere. Hospital... Wasn't that where-? Trish. Of course. Cole's former girlfriend, Trish, used to work in a hospital as a nurse. How could he have forgotten?
Tears began to form around Cole's eyes as he drank the black liquid. The liquid was very harsh on Cole's throat and, on finishing off the liquid, Cole began coughing heavily. In that very moment, Cole looked over how this day had gone so far. He had been locked up in prison; used in an experiment; fought two powerful hooded men; was nearly killed by a little girl and had knocked her out; and was broken out by these ACO people who now have control over what Cole could do. How much worse could this day get?

"Go get mauled by the probably thousands of zombies that have surrounded the building with those shotguns which are going to A: break your arms if you try firing them like that, and B: one bite from those zombies, and you're dead, oh, and you don't have enough ammo to kill all the zombies as well, so when it runs dry, you're fucked. Face it kid, you ain't getting out of this building without our help."

"He's got a point." Deimos said, lighting a cig with his finger somehow.

"Maybe not. But I noticed an armory on our way here. If they do have what I'm hoping for I may not be needing bullets." The Doomguy said looking back at them. "Besides, I might as well fight my way out instead of hiding inside a building with nowhere to retreat to."

"Nothing escapes my prison." Thresh whipped around to keep up with Taomon's speed, but not without taking a blow to his head and his side. Both blows were protected by his armor of souls. "Not even you."

"Not your emotion." Thresh smirked as he wound his chains again. "Your sanity."

Thresh first connected the chain to Nera. Then, as he dragged himself towards the jackal, he tossed the soul lantern towards Nera. As Thresh approached Nera, he whipped hs hooks upward to lift Nera up, and the lantern that hovered on the ground slammed Nera back down to the ground.

"Who said anything about escaping?" Taomon said using another set of talismans to make purification explotions all around the place

"If this place is an extension of your actions or embodiment, then lets cause some ruckus" the magician spoke sending more and more talsimans while making more explosions

Now that she was close, Nera got the chains and pulled Tresh all she could and made a powerful Close Combat attack on his body

"What's this...?" Thresh frowned as he saw the explosions in the air. They were negated by Thresh's soul armor, but his vision was inhibited. "This isn't a carnival."

For the first time, Thresh seemed to have difficulty. He drifted away from the Close Combat as he noticed that he would lose too much souls if he followed through. Instead, he sidestepped out to avoid the flailing fists and raised his hooked chain up to toss Nera away. But that didn't mean that he would stop his assault.

"Snivelling mongrels get the HOOK!" Thresh's voice echoed with anger as he threw his chained hook towards Nera's neck: his primary move, the Death Sentence.

Taking that brief moment of distraction Taomon went for one of her strongest attacks Talisman of Light! she commanded

Chanting her incantation while painting the Sanskrit character in the air with her brush, the magician hurled it towards Tresh to catch him in a gigantic explosion and annihilate him.

Nera looked at the chained hook and knew what to do "It was a good challenge, hope this works" she mumbled as she charged all her energy on her most powerful attack

The mega lucario closed her eyes and waved her arms in unison as her aura concentrated on her paws, there was a sudden blue light between them. In a moment of focus she opened them and liberated all of her energy "Aura Storm!" she growled as the powerful beam crossed its way towards the chained hook and the guard
