    "HM-kun!" Daiyousei descended to retrieve HM in near-death. "Oh, oh no..."

    Daiyousei looked around. No one nearby to help her. HM is most likely too heavy for a dainty little fairy like Daiyousei to lift.

    "Great Nature - Gale Field!"

    Daiyousei set off a continuous Spell Card that pushed any oncoming fire away. It taxed her strength, but it should keep HM safe until Daiyousei gets help.

      Hell of Blazing Fires

      "I hope it did." The Higher Power said, disappearing and reappearing next to John.

      "I believe I took out your friend for a while. Didn't kill him, though." The Higher Power explained.


      Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

      You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

        John looked over to the Higher Power standing above him and weakly smiled in his helmet.

        "Now we just need to go get HM.", John said as he looked at the Higher Power.

        Seeing that HM was injured and that Daiyousei was getting tired, John slowly rose to his feet and forced himself to run towards Daiyousei and HM. As soon as he reached them, John created a platform out of Darkness and lifted them all up into the air, out of the fire. Once they were at a safe distance away from the fire, John looked at the damage done to HM ind shook his head.

        (Damn...), John thought as he looked at the damage.

        What could he do? HM was dying. If only he had his Biofoam...
        That's when it struck John. His Biofoam was back on the Consumer. It would be able to regenerate all the damaged electronics.

        "Higher Power, can you go get my Biofoam? It's in the Consumer, in the main chamber.", John said to the Higher Power.

            HM reached a hand up to touch Daiyousei's face.

            "Daiyousei... Go... Go, now... Don't get involved..."

            "Really, Jack. Must you do this to me?"

            Sebastian floated down.

            "Se... Sebastian... How... Dare you..."

            "Let's go."

            Using some type of holy magic, he lifted HM. HM reached out to Daiyousei.

            "... N...o..."

            "Until the next time."

            They disappeared in a band of hell ravens.

              "No need to go get it, fairy." HP then summoned a biofoam canister in his hands, tossing it to John. "That's a little more potent than your normal foam. And by little I mean a lot."

              He then saw Sebastian make HM disappear. "Damn. I really should have taken him out back during that poker game in 1992."

                  John caught the super Biofoam and gritted his teeth as he saw HM disappear. He knew that Sebastian wouldn't kill HM, but what would he do to his mind?

                  "Thank you...", John bitterly said to the Higher Power.

                  John was thankful for the Biofoam, but now HM was gone. There was no need. John remained silent as he thought about what Sebastian might be doing to HM.

                    She couldn't do anything to protect him.

                    Daiyousei was an outcast.

                    Samehana, Deity of the Lake.
                    Yuugi Hoshiguma, Deity of the Mountain.
                    Suika Ibuki, Deity of the Land.
                    Tenma Sayo, Deity of the Storm.

                    And the one to govern all, Daiyousei the Greater Deity of Nature.

                    Due to her status, she was never associated by her peer fairies and weaker Youkais. Strong Youkais shunned her due to her being a fairy.

                    What is my life? Why do I exist?

                    ..."Hey, what are ya doing, sitting there?"

                    Daiyousei looked up. A small blue fairy, about a few inches shorter, was staring at her. Her wings were made of ice crystals. Everything about her was blue: her hair, her ribbons, her dress...

                    "You're not... Scared of me?"

                    "Why would the Str⑨ngest of Gensokyo be scared of you?"

                    "..."

                    "You seem like you don't have any friends. You wanna play with me?"

                    "...uh"

                    "Alright! Starting today, you're one of the cohorts of Team⑨!"

                    "Where is Cirno-chan! Where did you take her!"

                    "Calm down. I don't know who this Cirno is, but I promise I will help her."

                    "...do you promise?"

                    "I promise."

                    "...can I know your name?"

                    "My name? It's..."

                    "HM-kun..."

                      HP summoned a paper and pen, writing a note back to Sebastian which read

                      "I still won the outer plants from you." then, the note disappeared from HP's hands, and hopefully reappeared in Sebastian's.

                      "Well, that's up to you." The Higher Power said. "I have my own business to attend to with the other Higher Powers, so i'll see you. Oh, and fairy, sorry about your boyfriend, you have my condolences."

                      The Higher Power did a little salute, then disappeared.

                        Seeing that another person he cared about was gone, John closed his eyes and took a deep breath. So far, the only people that were left were Renamon, Nera, X, and Axl. It had gotten to the point that John just barely felt anything anymore. It had gotten so bad within a couple hours that he had become numb to the pain.

                        "Daiyousei, we'll get him back, even if I have to kill every last demon in Hell.", John calmly said to Daiyousei as he stood back up.

                        "We'll find him. He's not dead yet.", John said in a tone of sincerity to Daiyousei as he held out his hand to help her up.

                              "Then that simply means that we'll have time to prepare.", John calmly said to Daiyousei as he turned his head over to Gerard.

                              "We're coming.", John said to Gerard as he made the Darkness platform float down in front of Gerard and dissipate, causing both John and Daiyousei to land safely on the ground.

                              "I'm going to find HM. I promise.", John said to Gerard.

                                Koishi was quiet for a while, and wasn't shaking, and neither was her third eye, though it was covered under the blanket and wasn't visible. Then, Koishi's eyes opened, and she looked over to Isaac.

                                "Everything looks different." Koishi weakly said to Isaac. "And everything's loud."
