"You're the one being a nuisance!" Koishi created a vine of roses, swinging them above her head and wrapping the bounty hunter, throwing her off the creature as it seemed to go into overdrive, speeding ahead as the island started to become very small.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.
You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

John caught up to the commotion and landed on the monster's spines and called out to Koishi.
"We gotta turn this guy around. If we don't, we'll get lost and Satori might kill me for losing you."

Koishi pulled up, the creature rising, revealing that the creature itself was probably the size of Honolulu.
Mima was watching from the island.
"Holy shit." Mima said, putting a pair of bonocular up just to make sure.
"What is it, amigo?" Slavador asked.
"Remember the thing that froze that sea when we killed it?" MIma replied.
"Yeah, that was fun." Slavador chuckled.
Mima pointed out to the ocean.
"I think we found it's mother." Mima grimly replied.

"Almost got him!" Koishi tugged harder, and the creature seemed to start to tip on it's back. Koishi moved her boat out of the way, and grabbed John with roses, stopping him from being crushed.
